(HBO)   I notice that in a lot of recent roles, Donald Sutherland is surrounded by really good art. I wonder if that's in his contract?   (hbo.com) divider line

They several preview choices. I chose wrong as he was barely in the one I watched, let alone art. Unless by 'art' you mean Nicole Kidman

Donald Sutherland is still acting? Haven't seen him in anything since Space Cowboys.

He was in an indie movie a few years ago, I think it was called "The Hunger Games", I think there were a few follow up movies also.

Ah, yeah, I skipped that one, the premise sounded too stupid.

I watched Kelly's Heroes yesterday. It is always a jolt to see actors like Sutherland so young.

Whenever Donald Sutherland shows up on a park bench wearing a suit and raincoat, you know the government is covering some shiat up.

He was also on the European TV show 'Crossing Lines', which wasn't that good but is a good way to waste some time if you like run-of-the-mill cop procedurals.

I still believe that the producers/director chose Sutherland's head covering in that film because his ears had featured so prominently 3 years earlier in The Dirty Dozen.

Watched The Hunt For Red October with the cilluns the other night; crazy number of famous people in that.

"That guy was in Beetlejuice!"
"That dude was in Thor and the Avengers!"
"Is that the guy from The Hunt For The Wilderpeople?"

It's good to watch if teenagers are pissing you off (like watching Edge of Tomorrow if you hate Tom Cruise).  If mine are acting up I'll put it on and stare at them without blinking.

He probably kept all the pretty pictures he made when he fired his tank's cannon in Kelley's Heroes.

It scares the hell out of people.

Speaking of HBO, their recent new shows/miniseries have been incredibly mediocre (Lovecraft Country) to farking awful (Third Day). HBO is really turning into some avant garde bullshiat these days.

I probably will, too. I can't believe I watch a network sitcom just for that guy, but he makes The Unicorn work.

Agreed on both of the shows you mention.  If you're trying to do five shows at once, as with Lovecraft Country, you're not really doing any show.

Raised by Wolves is worth watching.
