Libs are crowing about all the money Trump is "wasting" trying to count every LEGAL vote, but what they don't understand is that, at this rate, Trump only needs to spend 1.1 billion dollars and Wisconsin is his.  He may have to use his own personal fortune to do so, but I can see PRESIDENT Trump doing just that to make America great again.

It's never been about a delusion that he can win the election through any sort of recount.  It's more likely a delusion that he can rile up racist militias and cause civil discontent on a national scale.  Sufficient to scare the courts into accepting his self pardon to avoid prosecution.  He's hoping some judges will get so sick of his obfuscation that they'll declare a mistrial.

Absolutely none of it is working out for him, but it's not his own money he's wasting, so what the hell does he care?

It wasn't Trump's money so he doesn't care.  However, the RNC must be really, really terrified of losing Trump's base of they are willing to burn $3m just to stoke Trump's ego knowing full well this was going to be the result.

Maybe keeping this nonsense going is actually helping them bilk donors.

Yeah, but donations are meaningless if you're going to spend it on shiat like this.

So, Donnie, HOW many times do you want to KEEP losing this election? How's that ego taking each and every certified loss? Again and again?

You know, there's an easy way out of all this. Just exit the circle of pain, and hand Pence the responsibility of the transition, and you can sit in your bunker, with your binkie, and all the Taco Bell you can throw down your fat gob.

I haven't told this story on Fark Dot Com, I'm literally shaking as I type this, but I feel this story must be told.

The reality is that Donald Trump is a billionaire who has spent his entire life in Florida.  He is 6'3 and 240 pounds.  He won the popular vote and became the President of the United States.  He did not feel the need to run for a second term, as he had accomplished everything he wanted in his first.

Now the media tells you that he "lost" the 2020 election, and I feel it is only appropriate that he solicit donations to defend himself from these slanderous accusations.  It is only fair that we spend excessive amounts of money in order to make sure that the votes were fairly cast.

It reminds me of how back in the year 2000, the Republicans accused Al Gore of being a sore loser, because he contested the election results in the country of Florida.  I do not know why I bring this up in a thread about Donald Trump, who is 1-0 in national elections, but it seems appropriate here.

This depiction of an internet messageboard post was designed, developed, and produced by a multicultureal team of various beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities.  I apologize if you were offended.

I remember how Obama would modify his upbeat optimism for whatever slanderous evil he was committing in the moment.  "Yes we can suck your blood," he said, as he sucked their blood.  The worst kind of mythological creature.

The idea in WI isn't to find significant vote changes, that isn't happening. It is to delay certification by f'in up the count so the deadline is missed and then suing like crazy to get it to Wisconsin's heavily partisan Supreme court. WIsconsin's state election certification meeting is Dec 1st, and they may miss that with Republican observers objecting to every ballot.

The other part of the donations...the part that went to Trump campaign staff, lawyers, consultants, and goodness-knows-who-else..that was the real point behind this.

They spent $3 million of other people's money to give their guys a bonus.

I think this is better and more recent:
https://www.wpr.org/wisconsins-presidential-recount-continues-only-small-changes-vote-totals

According to an explanation provided by the Elections Commission, the Westport changes were due to "absentee certificates found to be missing the witness address, 3 missing the witness signature and 1 missing the voter signature."

Virtually 100% chance all of these are legit votes, but those folks were just disenfranchised. But zero fraud.

That's just $52,631 per vote!

At this rate that'll only need another ~$1.08 Billion to cover the gap and beat Biden!

You stupid libs just don't get it. Trump is behind by 20,000 votes. This recount clearly exposed 57 individuali incidents of fraud. If they do 350 more recounts, at 57 votes per recount, Trump wins!

2020-11-26 2:12:26 PM
Keep going, Trump!
At this pace if you spend another $1.05 billion you'll win Wisconsin and still lose the election

Imagine what the USA could have funded with that money. Trump could ahve jsut given the money to rural hspitals that help his abse and he would have gone out a kind of hero.

So, 315.6 billion dollars should be enough for Trump to win! :-)

Consider it a stimulus for Wisconsin.

Aside from the grift involved in political campaigning, or perhaps despite it, all the millions spent do a good job of circulating money, and most of it comes from people who can afford it, I assume.

If people with extra money want to throw it around on what studies suggest is largely a waste, who am I to stop them? Go ahead and pay workers to count the votes a dozen more times.

[Emphasis mine.]

FTA: The lawsuit comes as the recount in Milwaukee and Dane counties has resulted in very few vote changes. As of Tuesday morning, Trump had gained just 57 votes. Trump paid for a recount in only the two counties with the largest numbers of Democratic votes.

The term fraud isn't used: vote changes. Why the report fails to define "change" and what total Biden "gained" is sub-standard reportage-- and from ABC, disappointing. They've maintained a broader audience by resisting the market segmentation more partisan (editorial) appeals from its competitors have pursued.

I'm not arguing any significance to the "change"-- the margin effectively makes the "change" negligible, but I am dismayed to read through a long opening that frames the pending lawsuits to feel less informed about a reported quantitative fact than before.
