When you just randomly collapse, its usually either a stroke or undetected heart condition

There was a local body builder of undetermined age. Several years ago, we were downtown at a July 4 celebration, and he just dropped dead around 30 ft from us. I'd never seen someone die. Ever since I've associated body building with sudden death.

As a 54-year-old Cowboys fan, I'm getting a kick out of ... NO, WAIT, I'm not!!

This team should just call it a year.  It has been downright tragic to watch.

Everything I've read about him says he was great guy, well liked.

Yeah, steroids destroy your organs.

Did they find an undiagnosed heart condition or anything like that? Was he on steroids? I have that hobby but don't have an Arnold physique...yet.

At my gym about 25 years ago an aerobics instructor, age 35, zip body fat, dropped dead during his class.

You better get it while you can
you better get it while you can
if you wait too long it'll all be gone
and you'll be sorry then
doesn't matter if you're rich or. you're poor
and its the same for a woman or a man
from the cradle to the crypt it's a mighty short trip
so you better get it while you can

hate to say it but steroid can enlarge your heart which makes it malfunction

Guys, I know it's scary to accept but it's most likely he had a cardiac arrest (vs stroke) because shiat happens to good healthy people too.
There are plenty of things you can all speculate led to his death like steroids (he sure doesn't look like a strength coach who abuses steroids, not exactly a WWE body), or cocaine or meth or whatever else you like.  But odds are it's just shiatty luck.  Yeah, that shiat happens too.  World is a scary place.

slow news day, "america's team on thanksgiving", who knows, but ESPN is covering it like a reigning MVP just died.  weird.

He was a stranger to us. No idea of his age, name, nothing. I figured he was a body builder because of his pronounced upper body shape.

He was in the league in some capacity for over 30 years and worked with multiple teams.

Don't be such a dick

That's Fark. Right up to the point where something effects them. Then it's the saddest, most republican driven thing that has ever happened.
