Who the hell funnied that comment? Looking into Kislyak LED them to his campaign. FFS.

Not that the treason weasel shouldn't be spied on...

It truly speaks to the power of Fox News that they managed to turn the narrative from "Multiple domestic and international intelligence communities were spying on known Russian bad guys, and caught dozens of Trump people interacting with them" into "How DARE they?!"

This was an election that we won easily. We won it by a lot.  This election was rigged ... we won all of these swing states by a lot.  Why wouldn't they overturn the election? We have to turn the election over ... all we have to do is have some judge listen to it properly...

Honestly, this is more like the book, where Queeg never has that moment of realization.  He just finishes his diatribe and walks out completely unaware of what he sounded like.

Also, remember, what happened to Queeg was done to him.  He was kept out for too damn long, and promoted above his competence.  Trump forced his way into this, and is getting exactly what he asked for

Bear_of_Arkona: realmolo: You know, I didn't *actually* think that Trump was going to refuse to leave the White House. I didn't *actually* believe he would barricade himself into the Oval Office and refuse to leave on January 20th. I didn't *actually* believe he would declare himself "President-in-exile".

Now I believe it. We're on the edge of civil war. The US military will stomp on the Trumpers that take up arms, but there's going to be scattered violence for YEARS.

I believed he would do all that, I just didn't believe the Republicans would follow behind agreeing with him. I had thought they would have been happy to get rid of him and done their best to ease him down to Mar Lago to keep him there.

I was worried about the military siding with any real attempt he would make at staying in power but the mail in ballots are showing they are tired of him too which is a huge relief.

Meh.  Trump base is average Republicans.  They're not going to win elections by only rich people voting in their own interests.  A break from trump is a break from their base.

It's why they were silent for a week after the election.  They were testing the waters and they saw people in the streets demanding Trump be declared winner and realized that if they ever want a chance again they need to go with it.

They're grifters at heart.  The "good" ones left already.  The ones that have spoken out are either not in a position of power, won't be again, or on their way out, so it means nothing.

They've never given a shiat about this country outside of their own power and ability to turn that power into profit.  They see their only ability to retain power is to side with this dumbfark and if they don't their meal ticket is out rhe window.

Rudy just constantly shuffling papers was hilarious.

"Nope, no way out under here. Maybe in this stack.  Nope, but I'll fan through this folder and show it to this nice person over here.  Like my paper collection? I've got more where that came from!"

wejash: whosits_112: Why is this thing being referred to as a hearing?

Because calling it a "theatrical production" would probably have meant they have to pay union wages.

As someone that has paid IATSE dues in the past, he barely ticks any of the boxes of the pick two form :

Sober
Competent
Fast
(YMMV, I've also heard Speaks English, Can Read, and Isn't Colorblind)

whosits_112: Target Builder: whosits_112: Clutch2013: Here's the sad part: that's not the dumbest thing to happen to the PA GOP today.

They found a judge to finally go with their bullsh*t, and stop the state certification based on their BS election fraud charges.

Emphasis: State.  Not Federal.

The dumbasses halted the certification of down-ballot races only.  Presidential race?  Free and clear, and already certified.  So until a higher court tells the lower court to get f*cked (as is expected), PA can't certify it's own General Assembly.

They are probably too stupid to realize that, or think that no one will call them out on it.

The PA Governor already pointed out to them that as the PA legislature term ends on November 30 that their own lawsuit seeking to put a hold on the election would result in them not being in office any more in a few days time.

They apparently went ahead with it anyway.

Wing Kong Exchange Day Trader: What the fark is wrong with him? That we are four years into this, almost done with the craziest year in a lifetime and we still haven't reached peak weirdness, is amazing or a data point that this is all a malfunctioning simulation.

So I'm going for it. Please, omnipotent supreme engineer,  running this joke of a reality,  grant my wish...give this guy a stroke, live on TV.  He needs to shiat his pants and I'm talking the runs, then pretty please,  let him  choke on his own tongue. Live.  Cause I think there is an audience for this.
Bonus round, have his kids and son in law eaten alive by a rabid pack of miniature poodles.

Then maybe Crl + alt + delete

Thanks

"That we are four years into this, almost done with the craziest year in a lifetime" SO FAR

Screw the Vulcan's "May you live in interesting times..."  Nope... I am seriously hoping for some bland boredom after the past 4 years.  Just stop the crazy ride for a month or two or 200.

LawPD: Another week or two and he'll be announcing that he "hereby declares" himself the winner of the 2020 election and has had some moron in the WH staff write up an Executive Order for him to sign.

Why doesn't he just Executive Order the election?

phaseolus: WithinReason: ...exactly what President Obama was doing after he was voted out in 2016.

Either you're a long game satire troll who's been saying stupid shiat for years just for giggles, or you're a blithering idiot, if you think Obama was "voted out" in 2016.

If it's the first thing, I gotta hand it to you, I've never seen you break character.

I vote blithering idiot.

The Dog Ate My Homework: If you think this has been bad, just imagine if the election had been close.

Or if some crazy happened like he won the popular vote but not the electoral college.

/just kidding, that's ridiculous

It's what happens when people don't understand how things work.

It was incomprehensible to many that the FBI would be monitoring Carter Page, among others, for many years as part of a routine program to keep an eye on suspect foreign agents within our borders.

In their minds, things begin at the moment THEY noticed them happen, or were told they happened. Ergo, the report of the Russo-Trumpian connection in August 2016 was the VERY FIRST TIME the FBI had ever listened in on any of the subjects.

Thus, it becomes easy for Faux Nooz to spin it as an illegal investigation aimed solely at Trump. Or we would have heard about it before. RIGHT?!

physt: WithinReason: trump is just doing exactly what President Obama was doing after he was voted out in 2016.

Shut up, moron.

Trump is pardoning people who can implicate him. F*ck you with your both sides bad act, you traitorous shill.

Either show your proof or slink away.

I think you are replying to the wrong thread.

What about pardons?  This article is about trump calling into "hearings" being held in a Motel 6 conference room, and President Obamas bitterness over losing the 2016 election vote
