Another week or two and he'll be announcing that he "hereby declares" himself the winner of the 2020 election and has had some moron in the WH staff write up an Executive Order for him to sign.

How many Republicans will detach from his rump at that point, and how many will just shake their heads sadly and say "Well, the President has spoken, folks. Nothing we can do about it."

0 and all are my guesses.

So he tells a story of a woman who was told she'd already voted, and voted "for Biden". How would they know that? Isn't who you voted for kept secret? Having already voted would be a matter of record at the polling station. Who you voted for would not.

Plus, of course, he sounds even more deranged than usual.

Another week or two and he'll be announcing that he "hereby declares" himself the winner of the 2020 election and has had some moron in the WH staff write up an Executive Order for him to sign.

There is precedent: it's how the Trump Organization from having Donald's father, Fred, sow disorganization in the heights of his Alzheimer's disease.  From Vanity Fair:
"
There is a long history in the Trump family of denying serious illness. According to a Trump family friend, Trump's father, Fred Trump Sr., insisted on working even after his Alzheimer's disease advanced in the 1990s. "To retire is to expire!" Fred Sr. would say. The friend said that as Fred Sr.'s disease worsened--he once came down the stairs wearing three neckties--the family created a system so that Fred could think he was still running the Trump Organization. Every day Fred Sr. would go to the office in Brooklyn and they would give him blank papers to sort through and sign. The phone on Fred's desk was set up so that it could only dial out to his secretary. "Fred pretended to work," the family friend said. "

Trump is right in one sense. If they have all the really great evidence, then they need to be presenting that in court.

It's been a really weird legal strategy thus far. They claim to have stacks and stacks of evidence and also mathematical proof that the election could not have been as declared. But so far their legal eagles have put forward exactly none of this.

So yeah, show us what you've got. You aren't lying about having it, are you?

hmm...I dunno, it has the "hereby", but a claim and a declaration are similar, but not exactly the same thing.  I'm afraid the judges aren't going to be able to give that one to him.

You know, I didn't *actually* think that Trump was going to refuse to leave the White House. I didn't *actually* believe he would barricade himself into the Oval Office and refuse to leave on January 20th. I didn't *actually* believe he would declare himself "President-in-exile".

Now I believe it. We're on the edge of civil war. The US military will stomp on the Trumpers that take up arms, but there's going to be scattered violence for YEARS.

I wonder how the "liberal" media will describe this. Or if they'll bother describing it at all.

Also, this seems like a good time to say, for the nth time, stupid people should be told they're stupid and to shut the fark up.

That we've declined to do that for decades is part of the reason we're here now. Playing nice and being polite to these assholes is why they hold press conferences and shiat out lies, knowing that "polite" people won't call them lies and that the "liberal" media will help disseminate the lies because "objectivity."

And the result of that is, among other things, nearly 300,000 people dead this year SO FAR. We still have a month to go, and that shiat isn't gonna suddenly stop in January.

But hey, everyone, let's all hug the dummies and pat them on the heads and tell them their "beliefs" are just as valid as science because apparently that'll make everything better. (wanking motion)

Here's the sad part: that's not the dumbest thing to happen to the PA GOP today.

They found a judge to finally go with their bullsh*t, and stop the state certification based on their BS election fraud charges.

Emphasis: State.  Not Federal.

The dumbasses halted the certification of down-ballot races only.  Presidential race?  Free and clear, and already certified.  So until a higher court tells the lower court to get f*cked (as is expected), PA can't certify it's own General Assembly.

Please, omnipotent supreme engineer,  running this joke of a reality,  grant my wish...give this guy a stroke, live on TV.  He needs to shiat his pants and I'm talking the runs, then pretty please,  let him  choke on his own tongue. Live.  Cause I think there is an audience for this.
Bonus round, have his kids and son in law eaten alive by a rabid pack of miniature poodles.

Then maybe Crl + alt + delete

Thanks

Either you're a long game satire troll who's been saying stupid shiat for years just for giggles, or you're a blithering idiot, if you think Obama was "voted out" in 2016.

Now I believe it. We're on the edge of civil war. The US military will stomp on the Trumpers that take up arms, but there's going to be scattered violence for YEARS.

I believed he would do all that, I just didn't believe the Republicans would follow behind agreeing with him. I had thought they would have been happy to get rid of him and done their best to ease him down to Mar Lago to keep him there.

I was worried about the military siding with any real attempt he would make at staying in power but the mail in ballots are showing they are tired of him too which is a huge relief.

Please... he doesn't have that kind of patience! His "inner-circle" yes-men are probably doing everything they can to prevent him from announcing his candidacy and campaigning for 2024 right now!

0 and all are my guesses.

It depends on how many devoted followers stay devoted.  What was it, 73% of republicans think Trump actually won?

Those people aren't going to stop believing, so if the politicians change course on him ut would alienate the base.

Which would farking fantastic. But they aren't here for standing up for the good of the nation, they're all grifters.  So they're just gonna go along with the grift.

Usually their grift is more along the lines of convincing their base that what they're cutting of taxes of the rich will totally help their voting block, but now the grift is a cult of personality that is stronger.

They'll hold onto it for dear life.

Carter Pewterschmidt: So he tells a story of a woman who was told she'd already voted, and voted "for Biden". How would they know that? Isn't who you voted for kept secret? Having already voted would be a matter of record at the polling station. Who you voted for would not.

Plus, of course, he sounds even more deranged than usual.

Its that bullshiat story from Nevada that was already debunked.  Where the lady mailed in her ballot then tried to vote in person.

The part that her vote was for biden is a new twist.  But the lady refuses to officially go on record, because if she does she would be legally held liable for her words.

First it was that it was stolen, then it was her roommate did it.

The SoS even gave her the option of recasting her ballot for who she chooses.... but has refused.

So, yeah.  Refuses to file an official complaint.  Her signature WAS VERIFIED.  She has 2 different stories on how it happened.  Was given the option of recasting her ballot.

2020-11-25 8:15:38 PM
I doubt Trump has any real control of the military or secret services any longer. There must be some level of strategy for a 'shiat gone sideways; event.

2020-11-25 8:15:44 PM
I expect Trump will "demand" that Perdue and Loeffler publicly support non-certification of swing state Electors, thereby depriving both Biden and Trump of 270.

"If they won't promise do it, they they don't deserve to be Senators. You can't vote for them if they won't do what's right! They must commit to overturning the election!"

That race will be so tight that even if only 2% decide Republicans need to be punished for insufficient fealty to Trump, they will just not vote and thus hand the win to Democrats. I expect it'd be quite a lot more than 2% because these Trumpnut biatches be crazy.

Omnivorous: Another week or two and he'll be announcing that he "hereby declares" himself the winner of the 2020 election and has had some moron in the WH staff write up an Executive Order for him to sign.

Really, the world owes a huge debt of gratitude to Giuliani, Powell, Ellis, the apparent panders in the White House staff and various media organizations, the RNC, the GOP, Lindsay Graham, the Proud Boys, III %ers et al for keeping up the impossible delusion that Trump is still president.

Without them who the fark knows what that syphilitic deranged mad farkwit would do?

This was an election that we won easily. We won it by a lot.  This election was rigged ... we won all of these swing states by a lot.  Why wouldn't they overturn the election? We have to turn the election over ... all we have to do is have some judge listen to it properly...

Honestly, this is more like the book, where Queeg never has that moment of realization.  He just finishes his diatribe and walks out completely unaware of what he sounded like.

Also, remember, what happened to Queeg was done to him.  He was kept out for too damn long, and promoted above his competence.  Trump forced his way into this, and is getting exactly what he asked for

Bear_of_Arkona: realmolo: You know, I didn't *actually* think that Trump was going to refuse to leave the White House.

Meh.  Trump base is average Republicans.  They're not going to win elections by only rich people voting in their own interests.  A break from trump is a break from their base.

It's why they were silent for a week after the election.  They were testing the waters and they saw people in the streets demanding Trump be declared winner and realized that if they ever want a chance again they need to go with it.

They're grifters at heart.  The "good" ones left already.  The ones that have spoken out are either not in a position of power, won't be again, or on their way out, so it means nothing.

They've never given a shiat about this country outside of their own power and ability to turn that power into profit.  They see their only ability to retain power is to side with this dumbfark and if they don't their meal ticket is out rhe window.

Rudy just constantly shuffling papers was hilarious.

"Nope, no way out under here. Maybe in this stack.  Nope, but I'll fan through this folder and show it to this nice person over here.  Like my paper collection? I've got more where that came from!"

wejash: whosits_112: Why is this thing being referred to as a hearing?

Because calling it a "theatrical production" would probably have meant they have to pay union wages.

As someone that has paid IATSE dues in the past, he barely ticks any of the boxes of the pick two form :

Sober
Competent
Fast
(YMMV, I've also heard Speaks English, Can Read, and Isn't Colorblind)

whosits_112: Target Builder: whosits_112: Clutch2013: Here's the sad part: that's not the dumbest thing to happen to the PA GOP today.

They are probably too stupid to realize that, or think that no one will call them out on it.

The PA Governor already pointed out to them that as the PA legislature term ends on November 30 that their own lawsuit seeking to put a hold on the election would result in them not being in office any more in a few days time.

They apparently went ahead with it anyway.

Wing Kong Exchange Day Trader: What the fark is wrong with him? That we are four years into this, almost done with the craziest year in a lifetime and we still haven't reached peak weirdness, is amazing or a data point that this is all a malfunctioning simulation.

So I'm going for it.

Thanks

Screw the Vulcan's "May you live in interesting times..."  Nope... I am seriously hoping for some bland boredom after the past 4 years.  Just stop the crazy ride for a month or two or 200.

Why doesn't he just Executive Order the election?

Either you're a long game satire troll who's been saying stupid shiat for years just for giggles, or you're a blithering idiot, if you think Obama was "voted out" in 2016.

If it's the first thing, I gotta hand it to you, I've never seen you break character.

I vote blithering idiot.

It's what happens when people don't understand how things work.

It was incomprehensible to many that the FBI would be monitoring Carter Page, among others, for many years as part of a routine program to keep an eye on suspect foreign agents within our borders.

In their minds, things begin at the moment THEY noticed them happen, or were told they happened. Ergo, the report of the Russo-Trumpian connection in August 2016 was the VERY FIRST TIME the FBI had ever listened in on any of the subjects.

Thus, it becomes easy for Faux Nooz to spin it as an illegal investigation aimed solely at Trump. Or we would have heard about it before. RIGHT?!

Shut up, moron.

Trump is pardoning people who can implicate him. F*ck you with your both sides bad act, you traitorous shill.

Either show your proof or slink away.

I think you are replying to the wrong thread.

What about pardons?  This article is about trump calling into "hearings" being held in a Motel 6 conference room, and President Obamas bitterness over losing the 2016 election vote
