That was ridiculously cute. I never knew that rabbits could make sounds until my FIL went to show us some new baby bunnies that had just been born and the mother made a "RAH" sound when he opened the cage. Surprised the hell out of me. Then I learned that they scream when they die :(  In-laws raised rabbits for meat, I never partook.

The damage rabbits and deer do to my vegetable garden make me cheer for the hunter when I watch Bambi these days.

The screaming is true - I live in a rural area with wild beasts roaming all over - you can hear them scream bloody murder when attacked - mostly at sunset, while they are trying to commute home.  It's chilling.

That's more of a: "Dammit, I got water up my nose again *geschnarffle*".

YMMV

When my dog was being 'dog-sat' by a friend who owned a bunny - that bunny let my dog (10x its size) know who *owned* the back deck at their house.

My beagle ate the neighbor kid's pet bunny.  Well, half of it. That made for an awkward conversation.

They sometimes also make a grunt/snort sound when they're pissed, will stomp their back feet when annoyed, and make a grinding noise with their teeth when happy. The grunt is the funniest to me, because while they're trying to get something to leave them alone, it's the least intimidating 'fark off' I've ever heard.
