Appears that it won't be bad enough to force the postponement of the game. Just enough to lose two starting RBs and a defensive lineman. So far.

Well they did just play the Titans

Well, so far, the real Thanksgiving day game is still on. Cowboys and WaShinGton FoOtbALl TeAM.

The week is young, more players could turn up positive. I'm not counting on the Steelers/Ravens game happening yet

Since it's 2020, the Lions game will probably be the only game played.

Yea, especially give they have the theoretical flexibility to move it back to Sunday/Monday to give a chance to have somewhat of a full team. That being said, the NBC night Thanksgiving game has to be one of the premier TV spots in the contract so NBC is going to be screaming for a game to go on unless they don't have 22 players to field a team. It isn't as if they can substitute teams in now so they are stuck with that matchup and are going to want it to go off if at all possible.

Hey, ANYONE could win that division.

(and the privilege of losing to the top wild card team, currently the Bucs)

It better happen, or Pittsburgh gets a freebie from this, they already had the schedule jacked up thanks to the Titans' outbreak earlier.

Ingram is gonna be out? But who's gonna rush for 19 yards on 6 carries?

That's a damn good point about the contract.

Since it is 2020, it will just be a Lions' scrimmage.

And they'd figure out a way to lose. Okay, that's the most normal outcome, but still.

I vote for the Ratbirds to forfeit.  Cheap way to get to 11-0, but Mercury Morris must not pop the cork on his champagne.

It's not like the Ravens had a running game anyway.

It's for the division lead on the NFC east, what more can you ask for in a Thanksgiving day game?

It's happening. All the games are happening. Every single game scheduled will be played at some point. If anything, the playoffs may get expanded so 2 additional teams might play an extra game. The money says it will happen and besides (despite all the pearl clutching going on around here) it's not like NFL players and staff are dropping like flies from covid. The positive list is simply a precaution as the virus has turned out to be little more than a nuisance for people in their athletic prime, shocking as that revelation is. Through week 10 the NY Giants defense and needle wielding team medical staffers each have put more players in the hospital than covid.

Unless there is a spike in the number of geriatric player signings in the league anytime soon, nothing is changing. Good thing Vinatieri retired I guess.

"But with contract tracing completed,"

Baltimore Sun, you used to be better than that.
