By no means, carry on.

And what, pray tell, would those missing "details" be, exactly? Because I fail to see what details The Root left out of their follow-up article specifically about these recent charges being brought?

Because I read your link and I see this:

The what happened details, it didn't happen at a march to the polls, it happened at a unpermitted March to the court house and blocking the roads, they were given leeway to knell for the 8 minutes and 46 seconds but told to leave when traffic was getting blocked.  I think think the aclu agrees with people can't just block roads.

Police obviously lied about just spraying the ground with pepper spray, protests, protesters are lying about them using tear gas

Atleast as I am reading it the root seems to be making this a voter intimidation issue that it doesn't seem to be the case.

The only detail that matters is that the police yet again kettled a peaceful protest they didn't like and are predictably now making things worse by swinging their dicks around. It's a sequel of a sequel of a sequel of a shiatty reboot at this point, and vague notions of " but maybe we don't know the whole story" aren't going to cut it anymore. Horse. shiat.

fusillade762: And cops wonder why people don't like them.

Hey now. I'd be willing to bet that most people who become cops still wouldn't be liked by many people, even without the badge and gun. Generally speaking, the people who become cops in this country are either the odious shiatheads who enjoy bullying people and have been doing it since kindergarten, or the dumbfarks who couldn't make any other career work because they washed out of their sports/military "career" before they even got started.

It's not that people become unlikeable when they become cops. It's that unlikeable people tend to become cops.

Centrists are Nazis who don't wish to be called Nazis, but still wish to see Nazi-like laws and actions become part of their government enough to either vote for them or not vote against them.

That's classical liberalism, or as we now know it, conservative thought. The government's purpose is to promote individualism and a free market by primarily focusing on protecting individual property. To that aim they support low taxes, oppose state benefits and support a police force whose purpose is to protect private property.

Almost all charges against demonstrators get dropped later - they are intended to intimidate, while later sparing the taxpayer the cost of unsuccessfully prosecuting people who haven't done anything.
I predict these charges will be dropped, after a while.

This guy is a racist piece of shiat and so is most of his community members. When the Latino population in the county started growing he started arresting them and deporting as many as he could even though the majority of them were here legally. He used threats, tricks and other tactics to get them to sign documents saying they were here illegally and agreed to be deported regardless of their status.

He ran his ICE Detention Center for maximum profit, holding Latinos for 90 days, the maximum allowed by law, regardless of what they had done and even when they had done nothing at all. $900 per person, per day is what he was paid by ICE.
