Some eccentric rich people in Florida keep tigers in their mansions. Tom Brady keeps Antonio Brown in his compound

The Bills might be overrated (I didn't realize that they'd already played the Jets twice... seems a bit early for that), but the Hawks' defense needs to step up. Counting on Rusty to consistently hit 30+ PPG should not be the foundation of their strategy. Despite leading the NFC West, they're the worst in PA... and they still have four more division games against teams who all rank among the best in PA. If they don't get their shiat together fast they could easily be looking at 11-5 or worse, with the Cards nipping at their heels for the rest of the season.

The important thing here is the Eagles will still be in first place after this weekend

The Hawks' defense hasn't been great, but these stats need context. Five times this year, the Hawks had huge leads in the fourth quarter, and the opponent's QB racked up big yards against the prevent defense. I don't love that they're playing the prevent D before the final two minutes or so, but only once has it come all that close to costing the game (vs. New England).

The last game is a perfect example. Jimmy Garopolo had 84 passing yards through three quarters and left the game trailing 30-7. Nick Mullens came in and amassed an astounding 238 yards in the fourth quarter, with the defense rushing only three men and giving his receivers huge cushions. Again, I'm not a fan of deploying the prevent D so early... but did San Francisco ever seriously threaten to win the game? No.
