The guy basically arrived in france, went to the closest church and started killing people.

This is what happens when you let everybody in with zero background check/interview.

Shocker. Tunisia supplied more ISIS members per capita than any other country.

Speaking from Notre Dame basilica, Macron said France had been attacked "over our values, for our taste for freedom, for the ability on our soil to have freedom of belief."
"We will not give any ground," he added.

Cute. France gave ground to literally millions of them and and it has to station soldiers around various innocuous places as if it's wartime. France is a beautiful country with a beautiful culture, but "live and let live" will always lose to "obey me or die".

Looking at the history of this guy, he never should have been let into France.  He had a criminal history, had no language skills or job skills period, no ties in the area (his family back home thought he shouldn't have left), and he was in no way a refugee.  I'm generally pro-immigration but this fellow gives immigrants a bad name.

"Lampedusa, an Italian island that serves as a European entry point for migrants from Africa."

There's your problem, right there. Calling them migrants.

Something fishy about the way he entered the country.

The whole story behind how he arrived in France sounds fishy.

I can solve this:  Just have France go full sharia.  Make all french people and people in france who don't identify as french convert to islam and start obeying Sharia.  Then peace will come, instantly.  As long as everybody follows sharia, no more beheadings.  Problem solved.

Well, Paris isn't as beautiful as people say it is since cities are dirty and smelly, but the rural regions seem really pretty. I think all large cities are ugly, though.

What would your reaction be to armed soldiers stationed around your town, even at schools? Would you still be an internet badass? But hey, it won't affect you, only those poor people that can't afford to move away.

So you would rather he arrived in France and killed a bunch of people at the border crossing

Well, I would have rather he tried at the border crossing, yes. See, people at the border crossing look like this.

I was in Paris earlier this year, those police units where walking around any major historical landmark with UMPs, FAMASs, and a few guns I didn't recognize.

Is cannibalism sharia compliant?  If not, then sadly, no.  But when you start adding more and more constraints to solutions, it is harder and hard to find the perfect solution.  And we all know, waste not, want not.  But I didn't invent Islam, so maybe they had a weird aversion to cannibalism.  I am hoping for a reformation that allows for the consumption of human flesh.

Ok, I've done some research (and if my companies IT department looks at my search history, there may be some awkward questions asked at my next review) and it would appear there are two schools if though regarding cannibalism and it being halal (legal). The extremely conservative interpretation of the Quran states it is forbidden. However, other interpretaruons have stated that "it is permitted to eat the flesh of humans and swine if it saves from starvation and isn't done with disobedience in the heart"...

So... if everyone is Sharia and we don't allow them to grow food.... BAM.. cannibalism is ok!

That is a very nice red herring. You might want to try broil with lemon. I hear it's tastier that way.

Also unwarranted assumption: That I could just pick up and leave.

We already have armed people stationed all over my town and even in the schools. It's the local terrorist groups known colloquially as "cops".
