Against all my expectations, the game is actually on NBCSN.

When afraid of spelling things wrong, acronyms are your friend.

S04 would've saved the Schalke mistake, same for OM for Marseille.

Also Reading-Coventry at 1245 Pacific in the championship. Reading is currently six points clear at the top and one of only two teams that hasn't lost yet. Bournemouth in second is the other team.

Palace-wolves at 1 Pacific while Schalke-Stuttgart is at 1230 Pacific

Looking forward to Arsenal-Manchester United on Sunday.

It will come down to whether Arsenal can fend off United's attackers, who are flying high after eviscerating Leipzig on Wednesday, and whether they can mount a credible attack against United's defence, who have not been scored on since they were drubbed by Tottenham.

I'm betting the answer to both is "no" and expect a 2-0 United win at Old Trafford.

Considering the state of Arsenal's defense I am going with no.
Side Show Bob, just no.

More than 10 COVID-19 positives in the Lens squad, so that match has been postponed since 2 days ago.

Apparently Hames is out of the next Everton clash as a result of...

A swollen testicle.

Apparently he got drilled by a ball in the Merseyside derby and he's still feeling discomfort.

That was my reaction too. I don't remember anyone being injured by a Roberto Carlos free kick.

Whoever did it needs to be used for direct ones down the middle.

Dammit Palace! Stay on-sides!

Offside ruins what would have been a great team goal for Palace.

And now Wolves go ahead.
Nouri on the half volley.
1-0

Who would have picked a top 5 in the EPL of Everton, Liverpool, Wolves, Leicester, and Aston Villa for 30 October?

Meanwhile in the grim north beyond Hadrian's Wall, the 2019-20 Scottish Cup semifinals are this weekend.  Hibs-Hearts tomorrow, Our Dons v. Celtic Sunday.  Judging by last week's 3-3 match between us and Celtic this past weekend it should be a good, although slightly odd, match.  The hope at the beginning of the season was that some fans could be let into Hampden for these two matches and the final, but COVID put paid to that.

And in a little sadder news, Fort William and the rest of the Highland League are still in limbo, and still unsure when their season will start.  Right now the plan is to start 28 November and play a 16- match season, but the weather will really play havoc with the season at that date.  It's frustrating for the League because the Lowland League kicked off without much trouble, but the Highland League has a lot of small clubs that couldn't even afford matchday travel (it's not cheap to book a coach from Fort William to Wick or Clachnacuddin) without gate receipts.  So the spectre of a year without Highland League football looks, and with it the possibility that a lot of clubs won't make it to the other side.

So probably starting this weekend I'll be paying for Sling again so I can have something to watch while I'm stuck here.  So I'll be back, muah hah hah

Milivojevic red carded after a VAR review.
Not sure why Atkinson needed to use VAR replay for that.

They have to go to the monitor if they're going to give a red after VAR looks at it

/the reality is that if the ref goes to the monitor, the call is getting changed
