It wouldn't make sense for them to trash it on Nov 3.  They still have to work there for two and a half months.

They're not there to trash the White House as such. They're there to get the ball rolling on their self-coup plans.

It is a crying shame that civics education nationally has deteriorated to the point that fewer than 99% of us are enraged by crap like this and the rallies previously held at the  White House.

Everyone, as part of our basic knowledge of ourselves as Americans, should know that is wrong, should know why it is wrong, and should be able to explain why such abuse represents a breach of trust with our democracy.

I'm fine with letting them break stuff. It'll be an excuse to gut the walls and rip out all the Russian bugging equipment. And burn anything Steve Bannon touched, much like how you deal with bedbugs in furniture.

I blame civics education for not being honest with us. We were led to believe there were all these checks and balances in the hands of honorable, respectable people who would prevent gross abuses of power by the executive. But 2020 shattered decades of that illusion by showing that the system of checks and balances were merely only a list of suggestions, and that dishonorable, unrespectable people could indeed ascend to protect such a President. If my public education wasn't free, I would have demanded a refund for what civics class led me to believe all these years.

Maybe a farker more educated on the subject can answer, if Trump literally starts trashing the White House when** he loses the election, do the Secret Service have any authority to prevent him? After all, he will at that point be a lame duck President trashing the future residence of President Elect Biden.

From what I understand, the White House is in the hands of a historical trust, and that theoretically if he does decide to trash the place, they can sue him for damages. But again, that information is from back when we thought laws and rules actually mattered.

That one may be, but they really looked nothing like they do now when they were younger and before they had plastic surgery done.

Outside of pater Trump, I think all of his kids have had some work done.  Which throws the whole idea that he pushes of 'good genes' right out the window (as it should be).

I wasn't free.

But it was cheap because Republicans have been cutting education budgets and redirecting public funds to private schools since 1965.

They will find Trump's turdstm In the walls and everywhere you will look. Joe should take pictures and instagram them later, asking for compensation for the damage to a national monument.

Trump will go on the air and say: "Yeah I shat on the resolute desk, it was trashed anyhow."

Also they should beware looters.

That's photoshopped, right? Please tell me it's photoshopped.

Because nobody would actually knowingly let someone take a picture of them looking like that, would they?
