I just watched her video on The Thing today, it gave me a chuckle.

I like how every reaction to first five minutes of The Thing from every reactor is "please don't shoot the dog"  / "are they gonna hurt the dog?"

She did pretty well with all of the Mel Brooks films she's watched, even if she didn't like some of them as much as an intelligent human being should.  Surprised to see her posted on Fark, though.

Find her perspective kind of hit or miss on non-comedy, though.

Is Natalie the one doing Firefly as well?  They're all a bit interchangable.  Not sure who decided 'basic white girl' was the next big reactor genre after 'black couple'

Hey...she has way more talent than the Kardashians.

And to be 100% honest:

I am 42 and I would not want to watch The Exorcist the same way she did.

I freaking love her reaction videos.  Found her on her Princess Bride reaction and it was priceless.

Subby here. Found her videos by chance the other day after she watched Ghostbusters. She hasn't been going that long but her subs are shooting up. As a Brit, I can see why she's not a fan of the old Monty Python movies, but I did find it amusing when watching Holy Grail when she suddenly said 'Oh, a bunny!"

I normally shy way from reaction videos for Duckpoopy's reason, but she's just so endearing & genuine (No flashy setups - she's just using her laptop & a phone). I like her a lot

Maybe it's me and my old man-ism but watching someone you don't know watching something seems really odd.  it's different if it's someone you know watching with you so you can see their reactions because you know their likes/dislikes etc.

During the initial lockdown, I found myself to be watching a lot of YouTube. In the past I probably would have agreed with You Are All Sheep but I happened across a channel from some kid named, Nasser, in the UAE that was watching Star Wars for the first time. I enjoyed his reactions and started following his videos. Then I discovered Natalie Gold and Awkward Ashleigh for the same reasons. There were a few others, but those three are the ones I liked the most and now I find myself looking forward to their updates. Heck, Natalie did "A Nightmare on Elm Street" yesterday and I made it a point to get a pizza and a beer and watch that when I got home from work!

Here's Nasser's channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/NassertheNiffler

If you can't appreciate Beetlejuice the 1st time you see it, there's no hope for you.

Actually, I didn't at first.  Granted, I was ten years old at the time.

I'd seriously doubt that. If she hasseen RP1, she didn't get any of the references. By her own admission she grew up in a family that just didn't watch movies or television very much. She apparently started doing this just to have something to do during the lockdown.
