Recoil Therapy: Our neighborhood has that one asshole of a neighbor who mows his lawn twice a week and also sneaks around at 6am with a ruler to measure the length of your grass.  If it's a 1/4" over what is acceptable (which granted is at a pretty shaggy length by then) he calls the city code enforcement to have them send people a nastygram. So those of us around him generally let things go until it gets sufficiently long. The city code lady is very tired of his shiat, approves of our passive aggressive warfare, has all of our phone #s and will call us after the complaint.  "Hey RT, time to mow your lawn" "Ok, will get it done this weekend" "Good enough, talk to you in a month..."

Anyway, I told you all that to tell you that all of us upwind of him don't rake our leaves but let Ma Nature send them his way... In our neighborhood the front yards average 2-3 acres and mine alone has 20ish mature hardwoods...{evil laughter}

He sounds like the kind of guy you wish had a hickory nut tree just upwind of his yard. very fall with the mower - kaDUNK kaDUNK kaDUNK and then you wonder why it's not cutting anymore until you see all the hickory nuts lodged on the blade.
