I love how he suggests our nukes were somehow dilapidated under other administrations.  But that's an easy thing for the group of morons around him to believe.

In fairness, Americans bought into bullshiat about our nuclear weapons since the missile gap crap 60 years ago.

We should have nuked the USSR into oblivion back in the 50s. Would have saved millions of lives.

You get sprung.

They are so far beyond what Obama had.  They have special stealth technology so you can't even see them.  They gave trump a tour and he couldn't see them at all.  They did tell him that the missiles were augmented, trump just figured that they had bigger boobs than when Obama was president.

The man is a stable genius.  Stable as a baby riding a bicycle.

Are secret service required to sign a non disclosure, meaning they can't write about their work defending this idiot?

And assuming he loses, whose job is it to guard him so he doesn't sell out the country that will vote him out of office?  He would do it for spite sake but more likely for the money.

Speaking of fondling nuclear material... so on the movie Alien, when Ripley sets the self destruct, it looks like she sets the nuclear reactor of the ship to meltdown. But then when she tries to unsuccessfully abort the sequence, she attempts to jam the control rods back with her hands. Would that not have killed her? From radiation or heat? (Just saw the movie again as part of Halloween horror marathon)

Anything he's had access to will probably have to be changed so that his information is no longer accurate.  That is, of course, assuming he could remember anything well enough to provide information of any value.  The guy reportedly cannot follow along with basic briefings provided to him and gets something just short of the paint-by-numbers intelligence briefings, so I highly doubt that he would have the capacity to personally select and remove meaningful documents.  If that's not enough, any state actor has got to realize how unreliable the guy is and that whatever they might get from him is questionable at best.  They'd probably get a bigger payday and diplomatic boost by simply providing proof of his attempted treason back to the current administration, or if they wanted to sew discord simply publicize it far and wide.

If they were really "renovated" under Trump then do hope the U.S. won't need them as they'll probably explode at launch. He probably saved money by removing all safety features.

Protip: between 11/4 and 1/20. I'd avoid iconic liberal cites. Trumpie might decide to go out with a bang and expunge Sacramento, San Francisco, and New York City.

He put a guy in charge of maintenance and security of our nuclear stockpile who didn't even know that was part of the job he was applying for, and wanted to disband the agency.

They were dumb enough to believe this story, so...
"When I took over, it was a mess. ... One of our generals came in to see me and he said, 'Sir, we don't have ammunition.' I said, 'That's a terrible thing you just said.' He said, 'We don't have ammunition.' Now we have more ammunition than we've ever had."

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but yes death in a day or so

From Chernobyl

In desperation, Dyatlov turned to the two trainee reactor control engineers who had come to work that night to observe the test, Viktor Proskuryakov and Alexander Kudryavtsev, and gave them instructions to complete the scram manually. Head up to the reactor hall, he told them, and force the control rods into the core by hand.
The two men obeyed, but almost as soon as they had left the room, Dyatlov realized his mistake: if the rods wouldn't fall under their own weight, they would also be impossible to move manually. He ran into the corridor to call back the trainees, but they had disappeared, swallowed by the clouds of smoke and steam that had filled the halls and stairwells of Unit Four.

Midnight n Chernobyl is excellent

And from somewhere in the heart of the tangled mass of rebar and shattered concrete-from deep inside the ruins of Unit Four, where the reactor was supposed to be-Alexander Yuvchenko could see something more frightening still: a shimmering pillar of ethereal blue-white light, reaching straight up into the night sky, disappearing into infinity. Delicate and strange and encircled by a flickering spectrum of colors conjured by flames from within the burning building and superheated chunks of metal and machinery, the beautiful phosphorescence transfixed Yuvchenko for a few seconds. Then Tregub yanked him back around the corner and out of immediate danger: the phenomenon that had entranced the young engineer was created by the radioactive ionization of air and was an almost certain sign of an unshielded nuclear reactor open to the atmosphere.

Nukes are constantly being refurbished, overhauled, upgraded, etc. Trump doesn't know that because nothing has ever happened or even been known until he learns about it.
