Give him a couple weeks to get there. He won't start deleting in earnest until he sees he'll be out on his ass in January.

That took literally three seconds.  But, hey, you got to wallow in self-satisfied smugness for a bit knowing that you're in no way Fark's version of a Federalist poster, so there's that.

That "ZOMG Clinton deleted 33,000 emails!" line is pure bullshiat anyway.  I probably delete well over 100 emails a day in my job, because they're automatic notifications from some system or another, or something I don't need.  And I'm sure the volume of my email is nowhere close to that of the Secretary of State.

It's a line pitched at old people with @aol.com accounts who get nothing but emails from Nigerian princes every now and then.

Pompeo's email.
Ivanka's emails.
Bush and Cheney's 2 million destroyed emails covering up their war crimes.
None of these matter.
To the GOP.
Neither do HRC's in truth.
That one was an "appearance of impropriety" scandal where they could feel free to speculate wildly on what might have been in those emails and feigning indignation.
It was never about anything other rhan casting a shadow of suspicion on a political opponent to enable them to make her look bad in some ill defined and nebulous way.
But of course instead of treating the fake scandal the way the GOP treat actual scandals about themselves ie  calling them lies and acting outraged the Dems did the dumbest thing possible.
They played D.
Instead of O.
And played right into the hands of the GOP's narrative.
One day they'll learn.
Annnny day now.

Clinton deleted her person email and sent off the non-personal email to be archived by the government.  Yeah, she shouldn't have mixed personal and official email, but then, neither should have the Bush admin, nor Pompeo

I think US government officials, all with no exceptions, have so badly bungled their email use, period, that it really is a sickening disgrace to the nation that they even tried to use it ever or at all.

Email should be completely banned from official government use, at all. Nothing in an email can have any government power or cause any government action. Carve that in stone and execute anyone who violates it even in a silly light way as a joke until it sticks.

Abysmal behavior. F-. No confidence in their ability to use email on the job at all. Democrat, Republican, Independent being completely immaterial and irrelevant.

Hillary isn't a special case that somehow matters because she's Hillary.

All are horrible and should have it taken away forcibly. All of them. All.

Get them the fark off all social media too.

Thanks.

Do you also get incredibly indignant about the millions of Bush administration emails that went 'missing'?  I'm very willing to bet that you don't.

Mrs. Pompeo has a heck of a rack. There. I said it. Punish me.

I'd rather government officials use their work email for personal matters than use their personal email for official matters. No one really cares if the some government schlub needs to send a message to his wife from work to tell her he's stopping at the grocery store on the way home.

To be sure, there are legitimate reasons that Diplomatic Security officials, whose mandate includes protecting the secretary, might be kept in the loop about workers who need access to his home. But Pompeo's unusual housing arrangement, in which he rents military housing normally reserved for flag officers for an undisclosed amount, has raised questions before.

"Diplomatic Security establishes all protocols and specifications for protectees based on threat levels," a State Department spokesperson said on condition of anonymity. "Mrs. Pompeo has been directed to contact Diplomatic Security before any non-family members come to their home."

The emails, all of which were sent to or from State Department officials, were turned over to NBC News in response to a lawsuit filed under the Freedom of Information Act, which is still pending. NBC News requested emails involving Susan Pompeo's Gmail address last November.

The emails are heavily redacted, citing FOIA exemptions for personal privacy. In an email from September 2019, with the subject line "5 Day Guest Schedule," the only word not redacted in the entire email is the sign-off, "Best."

If you're using the State Department's clout via their email account, then I feel like we get to see what' on your 5 day farking guest schedule that I bet somehow you didn't pay a farking dime for, lady.

Go "force modify" a battle ax up your butt, Mikey.  You and your wife can hire people to fix your dryers like the rest of farking america does and leave the GD state department people to do their jobs.

Oh, that's right, you guys ripped the State Dept. to pieces as one of the first actions in your admin.

Assholes. Assholes everywhere.
