We were warned in 2016 by DJT himself.

Ummmm, ok. So I wish someone well and everything gets purged. K.

Anyway zinc, manganese, and copper supplements help mitochondrial metabolism of the ACE2 cycle. Vitamin D, just today on Fark, said that hospitalization rates were correlated to lower Vit.D levels, so take supplements or drink fortified whole milk. Not saying it's a cure, but it gives you a proven fighting edge.

Best of luck, ya'll

Republicans are gearing up to make an election crisis

TFA is the one calling on Democrats to take it to the street if they lose, so who's doing the gearing up? Gonna riot, burn, and loot your way to victory?

A bunch of fark-sponsored level 4 plates wih MF DOOM masks on them might make a giant wet spot in the police line.

lolmao500: austerity101: jso2897: lolmao500: And they wont be put against the wall for it because attempted murder just like attempted fascism aint a real crime.

Do they give out Nobel prizes for attempted chemistry?

Attempted murder is a crime. So is conspiracy. You don't have to successfully pull something off to be a criminal.

Yeah but I've never seen politicians being arrested for conspiracy to overthrow democracy. The entire GOP, their lawyers, fox news and OANN should be put under arrest for conspiracy to install a fascist state and all hanged by the neck.

I hit the smart button especially hard with my left thumb. In case you wanted to know.

I think I may have sprained it actually.

Well, we better get used to it or demand change because republicans are going to turn every election into a shiat show for as long as they're allowed to.

They can't win on ideas and on votes, they know this. So they will win by other means and get more and more extreme in the process.

Texas Republicans challenge curbside, drive-thru voting in Harris County [Texas] - "Unless stopped, each of these instances of illegal voting will cast a cloud over the results of the General Election," the lawsuit states.

Stibium: suebhoney: Stibium: //Already got the TOZ Wildcat. Best .22 rifle I have ever owned by far, it's practically a laser beam

What kind of price would i be looking at for this one?

Also I wanted to really point out that that price was indeed for the older bolt-action model. I haven't checked out the newer model under that name which is a semi-auto. The only great thing I can say about the newer model is that it can take 10/22 magazines, and the Wildcat mags have ergonomic improvements for reloading them. Never had a 10/22, but I am familiar with helical magazines from the Calico, and they can be a bit more finnicky than a typical mag.

Speaking of Calico I don't see why that doesn't come up on more scare articles as opposed to an AR. An AR is not a small rifle at all, and few crimes are committed with them. A Calico, on the other hand, is a handgun that can have up to 100 rounds of 9mm +P+ ammunition in it, as well as a mount for a collapsible stock. It's probably as close as you can get to a true semi-auto assault weapon.

I'm a medical marijuana card holder and because of it, I cannot own a hand gun, which actually is fine by me.

I feel much more comfortable using a rifle than a hand gun.

What's wrong, upset that the American people won't accept your side's constant interfering, gerrymandering, intimidating, and now the outright demands to throw away ballots over something that's been done with no complaint in other elections and to manufacture enough bullshiat to discard the voice the people and have your own hand-picked group tell us what we want?

Stibium: baron von doodle: Stibium: J_Kushner: What kind of rifle?
Can't go wrong with a 12 gauge shotgun.  18.5in barrel, 6 round magazine.  Don't even need outstanding marksmanship to be absolutely deadly out to 50m.
Slap on the glow sights for low visibility. A 25td box of buckshot & you're ready for almost anything.

I'm partial to Winchester, personally. Butter-smooth and an even simpler action than Remington/Mossberg. Between those two I'd suggest Mossberg, due to where the action release lever is located as well as the safety. Hi-Standard would be a good middle ground if you come across a good used one. Extremely smooth action, breech locks into the steel receiver, Mossberg action, and a handy crossbolt safety. Never had an Ithaca or a 1897 Winchester but I'd love to play with them.

Unless you are picking knits, any big name shotgun will suffice. Yes, in competition, different things matter. For defense/ offense, a big name shotgun is a big name shotgun. You basically have to look at price (price multiplier: pump action vs. semi-auto), weight, magazine capacity, and barrel length (18" is generally the shortest that complies with most state laws).

In my opinion, you buy a pump action 12 gauge from one of the following manufacturers: Remington, Browning, Mossberg, or Winchester.

More or less, but ergonomics do factor in. Also shorty "not-considered-by-ATF-to-be-a-shotgun" shotguns are pretty nifty and come in at good price points. As long as you never attach a stock, by the 1934 NFA it cannot be classified as a shotgun and is not subject to the 18" barrel law, but only the 26" overall length. I'd hazard to get one of those in 20 gauge though.

Regardless, loadout is also a good thing to discuss. There are those that go full 00 buck, some stagger buck and slug. For me it's #4,#00,#4,1 oz slug, #00, with a #4 in the chamber. My philosophy is that at range it's better to hit with a few .30 shot than maybe one .38 shot. 00 gets you 9 in a typical 2-3/4" shell, but 27 #4's.

For a light conflict, the concept of the assault rifle comes up, in that it's better to wound and have another person carry him off than to kill outright and still have that extra person fighting. For home defense it's a no brainer to use #4, in my opinion. Smaller, lighter projectiles have better stopping power efficiency; and it's still better to get three times more holes in an intruder than 9 slightly larger holes if you ask me.

For a non-trained user, a shotgun w/o a buttstock is kinda useless.

wilshire: baron von doodle: suebhoney: AcneVulgaris: Kubo: Go for it.

If this election isn't close and the right legislatively cheats its way to "victory," I'll see you on the Supreme Court steps, placard in hand, along with what I'm guessing will be close to millions of my friends.

Then what?

Tear gas and beatings for all!

I've never owned a gun in my life. Not a half hour ago I was looking at rifles.

My mom, who only ever tries to see the good in anything, told me today she expects civil war 2 to break out if the GOP is allowed to steal the election, again, for a 3rd time. 2000, 2016 & 2020.

Never ever ever has my mom come anywhere near expressing this sort of an opinion. Both her and I have been gifted in seeing the way things are going to break. My 6th sense has kept me out of some major f*cking trouble my whole life, and it's been going off like fire alarm bells since the day RBG died.

I've made it very clear here, on fark, how scared I feel and i'm not an easily made fearful person. 2016 was the same. I knew before it was called trump would be declared winner, and I knew immediately we'd be f*cked. I wasn't wrong then and I hope like hell i'm wrong this time.

If you have no firearm training, don't buy a rifle or handgun. Buy a shotgun.

Psh, watch me 360 no scope

Obviously, my comment doesn't apply to you. Why bother posting? 300 Meter target iron sights is the standard, yes. But that is only a baseline.
