Working with the approval and assistance of the Republican Party simplified things a lot for them.

Tread carefully meow. The last thread about Russian trolls ended up getting nuked for reasons that you might be able to guess at.

I'm not sure we need the lesson. We in America are fully aware of what it's like to have Russian interference fark everything up.

I don't understand how people can simultaneously think that this kind of interference is a big deal and that democracy is a good system. Either Americans are smart enough to decide for themselves what information to believe and base their vote on, even in the face of lies and propaganda, or democracy is a shiat idea.

haha, no.

Democracy is a great idea just like a rose is a beautiful flower. Just because you dump toxic waste on the rose and it dies doesn't mean it isn't a good flower.

Why don't you just go drink some bleach or something.

So, in that analogy, the toxic waste is free speech?

What alternative to democracy do you propose?

I think our current limited democracy is fine. I also don't think this kind of interference is a big deal.

Of course you're OK with it. It's propping up your failure of a "leader".

That's why you're not a "real American".

That, and the Russki arm up your ass.

Albany NY? He's just as much your leader as mine. Anyway, I see you're on the "Americans are too stupid for democracy" side, so I'll ask you what I was asked. What alternative to democracy do you propose?

Is it a russian thing to think people are smart enough to make their own decisions about what to believe and base their votes on? I hadn't heard that stereotype.

I see you're in the "let our enemies overrun our institutions because holding on to power for one more cycle is worth treason" camp.

Democracy is a great thing and it is worth defending.

You, on the other hand, are the wort on the anus that is Republicanism.

So you simultaneously think that Americans are too dumb to make good decisions in the face of russian propaganda and that democracy is a great idea? How can you square those?

Democracy works best with an educated populace. It's why the GOP is determined to destroy education.
