Crewmannumber6: Pista: ClavellBCMI: Princip's Sandwich: Crewmannumber6: Which one accosted the female linesman last week?

Aguero, I think.

And he did formally apologize about that (and he still should have gotten a red card for that, but that is another story).

Fun fact. She's the assistant ref that was involved in the pond life that is Richard Keys & Andy Gray getting canned from sky sports.

Backstory please

Just before her first game Keys (while his mic was still hot) told Gary that they had better get someone down there to explain the offside rule to her.
Gray came back with "Women don't understand the offside rule."
There was a massive furore over it in the media. Keys resigned & Gray was fired.
Keys apparently called Sian to apologise & then, when she'd been interviewed in a paper or mag (can't recall which) & explained that he'd called to apologise, he denied it. It was all so stupid & that's why they both work at BeIN where nobody watches & she gets a regular PL gig along with WSL gigs & international women's games gigs.
I've seen her interviewed a few times now & she's really cool. Very calm, knows her stuff, knows she's human & not infallible just like the male officials.

Everton down to 10 men unless VAR gets involved.

I think VAR gets involved in *any* red card situation.

Coleen Rooney should've gotten a damn Nobel Prize in Literature for her post.

Newcastle is playing very good defense.
See if they can keep that up as they tire out.

i'll take a 1-0  by Jimenez for my prediction and ff team. 0-0 leaves Leeds in 4th which makes me happier

Pista: Chimpy McSquirrel: I haven't even seen their show on BeIn advertised or on the guide for a few years.

I had to endure streams from BeIN a few times early last season as they were the only stable ones at the time.
They refer to VAR as the goal cancelling system (or something similar). Both deeply unpleasant individuals

I guess I should be glad my only exposure to Gray was the PS2 FIFAs.

ClavellBCMI: Chimpy McSquirrel: Interesting.
Newcastle in a back 3.

According to ESPN, Newcastle went with a 5-3-2, while the Wolves went with a 3-5-2, uless Newcastle decided to push two of the 5 in that 5-3-2 to play mid-field.

The spirit of van Gaal lives on.

Have to find a new player to make fun of.

Harry Maguire. Any Fulham player.

They are not playing today.

Okay.

David Luiz.

Always a safe choice.

I am trying to figure out how he still has a job in the top division of any association in futbol.

I think the derby reminded them. Liverpool vs. EVARton...

Digne sent off for that, and rightly so regardless of intent.  The leg of Walker-Peters could have easily snapped from that.

So, issuing one yellow card is "laying down the law" now?

And for a handball, no less.

...so, just the two of us, then. I think a lot of the other regulars are next door on the F1 thread. The clock change may have thrown a few people off too.

I am in both threads, so this could be interesting :).

I bailed on the F1. It was pretty interesting for while, but now it seems to have settled into the usual procession, and barring a mechanical failure or accident, that's your top five, maybe even six.

I lost interest after 20 laps. I was hoping for it to bucket down with rain.

You should have watched the 24 hours of Spa.
Whole 24 hours was wet.
