I like him
I also found it interesting that when the GOP tried to smear him as a spouse abuser it came out that he was the one being battered and tried to protect his ex.

Also I don't understand Trump and Trumper's hard on for Minnesota (Maybe it's a point of pride/think we're super conservative because of our occasionally violent city cops.) We've got a blizzard's worth of snowflakes up here and have voted blue since forever. If you want to fark around with us, you'll find out. But honestly, go knock up some willing hellhound in Wisconsin or Iowa. We don't need/want any of your crazy bullshiat up here.

Wouldn't you rather have him in a position of actual power, where he can do things like thwart obvious attempts at voter intimidation?

Keep in mind, though, Clinton only won by 1.5 percent in 16. And our senate races are often very tight. I think Biden will do better than Clinton did.  But the senate race this year is supposedly pretty tight.

People voting Democratic

This is more good news for voters. As well as the TX GOP losing their case in wanting to stop drive up ballot drop offs, by the TX Supreme Court no less, and the PA GOP, along with the trump admin, attempting to cause massive voter suppression in PA. Currently, the PA GOP & the trump admin are 0-5 in the PA Supreme Court, with their latest attempt being tossed out just yesterday.

It's like the GOP knows that the more people who vote, the less likely the GOP is to win elections.

However, I expect Oct 27 to be the day we see the previous 4-4 SCOTUS tie regarding PA allowing vote counters 3 additional days to accept mail in ballots and have them count, immediately take up this case again and vote 5-4 in favor of the GOP & trump admin. Oct 27 is the first day ACB will be seated on SCOTUS. There is already a differently worded case (basically the same but looking for a better outcome) awaiting her to sit on the bench.

Next week we may see PA voters lose really big and we are all well aware of what that could mean for America. ☹

I thought perjury was a crime.  It appears they lying to the courts is now an accepted practice.

I will proceed accordingly.

The bottom of the 538 page has the other polls. The +1 for Smith from SurveyUSA is the one Hubbard/KSTP went with, of course.

Jason "Spooey" Lewis killed Net Neutrality.  I've personally heckled him about that point.
Jason Lewis got fired as a Rep for being a Trump-licker.  He'll be worse as a Senator.

Oh, I get it, yeah.  But they say I have a right to have this here gun.
Yeah... that's true, but the courts have said that right can be limited.
Yeah, I know.  I don't like it much, though.  I like my gun.
It's a nice gun.  Used to have one like it myself.

While one recent poll shows 44-43 for Smith, all of the rest show her with a 7-10 point advantage.  Of course, it's against Jason Lewis, who doesn't exactly have any across the aisle support.

Presidential polls are showing Biden with a 6-10 point lead in Minnesota.  It gives me hope that the people of my state are getting tired of the right wing bullshiat.

Everyone knows what the lie really means. It's kind of like the Berlin wall. According to the communist party, it was to keep those dirty free market hippies out of their glorious paradise. Nevermind the fact that barbed wire and guards shot to kill people escaping, no no, it was to keep people from coming IN!

We all know the score. Nazi republican legislators are trying to stop the voting using whatever legal suppression tool they have, and the lone wolf nazis are listening to nazi trump tell them it's all fraud and we have to stop the black people from voting.

There will be official armed guards at courthouses, especially federal courthouses.  If you're unlucky in getting caught intimidating voters, you may get to see them.
