On 23 January 2016, presidential candidate Donald Trump caused controversy when he stated the following during a campaign rally in Iowa:
I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters.

Joke's on them. In Trump's America, law suits can just be ignored.

Does this so-called attorney understand any aspect of the law?

When Samantha Bee called Ivanka a feckless coont, she could just as easily been talking about Kushner.

This.  I'm not a lawyer but even I know you can't be proven guilty of libel for quoting a news source.  Why don't they sue the primary news source if there claim is that it is false?

2020-10-23 9:51:26 PM
A real lawyer would actually sue, not threaten.

I'm not ready to embrace them, but TLP is doing some good shiat out there.

The endorsement of dems for some senate races makes me open to the idea that maybe some of them are folks whom I could have policy disagreements with but not consider enemies, merely opposition.

It remains to be seen if this will hold but if so it would be a welcome change to politics.

They are against anyone who even supports Trump.

Now, no one can forget they still led to the environment that produced Trump. The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, but I'll welcome whatever they want to spend on defeating Trump while not turning my back on them.

This.  Let them fark with Trump, but they are not friends.

If there is video of Kushner making that statement, their response should be to take down the static ad and play the video instead.

Feel like America is finally growing a farking pair and getting ready to kick these shiatbags back to their low-rent hustling lives.

Base defilers.  Unworthy of even using the public toilets near the White House.

God Bless the Lincoln Project.

Like the bivalves that they are, the Trump family's answer to anything they don't like is to threaten a lawsuit.  Never mind that any laws have been broken or that anything illegal is even suspected of happening, they'll do it - because it's the only thing they know how to do.  The nerve ganglions inside their skulls aren't capable of processing multiple options.  It's just stimulus/reflex response, like jellyfish stingers.

We need localized versions of that in every city.

They are murdering us.

I love the "nuts!"response.

Always the correct response to a Nazi surrender ultimatum.

Their response should be "Don't threaten us with a good time".

2020-10-24 2:15:27 AM
Well, if Mrs. Kushner didn't work at the White House she wouldn't be a public figure. Tough scheisse, I guess.

2020-10-24 2:17:46 AM
Another good response would have been:

"We refer you to the reply given in the case of Arkell v. Pressdram."

The Reverend Sam Hill: Baksheesh Barbie is a public figure, much as one might wish she were not.

Yup.  She's spent the last four years desperately trying to become the darling of international affairs and everyone keeps laughing at her.

Alliances are funny like that.

I prefer wife cheese over Republicans, but plenty of gullible Dems are eating #Not All Conservatives brand singles off of George Conway's ample bosom.

Some people are suckers for a Republican with cheese.

First is wouldn't discovery be a biatch?

Second is they have been up for a few months. It seems a little late in the game to sue now. I'm sure the judge will ask them about this.

But yeah, I see bunkie goes nuts over covid questions now more than ever. It is really really sensitive to them.
