I think it's really cool the the manufacturers have come up with designs that allow guys to join the gals with their show worship.

The off-white color is made to look like they've been worn out and about, but I'm not sure these are the kind of shoes you want to wear on the street. They might look better on a shelf, especially since they cost $150.

So about 3/4 the price of a pair of Nike LeBrons?

I'll wear them while I mow my lawn.

It's obviously fake and plastic, but yea that's gonna cause at least one person to freak the fark out. And TSA probably won't like wires sticking out of shoes...

I'm just barely interested enough to ask what the hell submitter is referring to. I just see a couple of pairs of goofy collector shoes. what's the big deal?

Not really any goofier than anything most basketball players, fashion designers, or rappers put out. But at least these take themselves less seriously.

Someone thinks that those shoes will ever be taken out of the box.

They're going to be some one's college fund. Seriously though collectible shoe prices are expensive. Especially considering the glue dries out and rubber dry rots. I found an old pair of my nikes from like 30 years ago, they crumbled.

TSA will think they are shoe bombs.  Never underestimate the depths of human stupidity.

In other news, Reebok still exists and makes shoes.

not sure how wearable the ones are with the pipes on the side, seems like they will get caught on something easy and break quickly

I hope they'd break quickly, because the alternative is a trip and faceplant

They're probably not meant to be worn, but to place immediately into your Tennis Shoe Vault as "investment".

They'll go right next to all my 1980s comic books that will also make me a fortune.

They're both poorly executed.

Reebok should just re-release the Twilight Zone Pump.

Shoes are the new baseball cards.

Someone is going to buy and collect these with hopes of cashing in big some day. The reality is that they will be lucky to get $20 at their mom's yard sale for them

People are talking about the "shoe" so a win for Reebok. Shoe collectors will eat this abomination up.

TFA shows some cool and weird new men's sneakers just like those worn by the stars of Ghostbusters.  Wait, what?

Considering the hell I went through wearing my Adidas 1's through an airport, yes, trying to fly wearing these basically guarantees it will end badly. TSA really, really dislike shoes with hidden battery compartments, motors, electrical components, etc.

Basketball shoes with ACTUAL ankle support!  What is this, the 80's/90s?

I would love to see someone play basketball in these ghostbuster POSs and see how long that crap on the back stays attached to the shoe.
