It took me a second to realize that was a tanning lotion bottle. Because at first I wondered if it was a staged photo (or a photoshop) of her taking a selfie.

What a Photoshop may look like.

Carrie and her mom were beautiful until they days they died.  Carrie's daughter will be too.

I'm pretty sure the dust was actually stinging the nose in this case

I just watched "The Man With One Red Shoe" last night (for the fist time more than nearly 3 decades) and forgot that Carrie Fisher was in that frolicking on a bed in leopard print underwear.

It was enjoyable.

The only good thing in that disaster of a movie.  The French original was WAY better.

Where is the chair positioned, and what is the status of John's facial hair?

A friend of mine did an incredible portrait of Carrie, based on this photo, I can't find a picture of the painting, but it was near photo quality - he did one of the Duchess of Cambridge that was the same style that can be easily found. We were so very jealous when he said that he got a kiss from her. It was put up in her mother's house, so I would love to know where it went from there...

Slave Bikini Leia was certainly nice to look at and all, but Medal Ceremony Leia is the princess you jump into an X-wing and fight the farking Death Star for.

It's 11:59 on Radio Free America; this is Uncle Sam, with music, and the truth until dawn. Right now I've got a few words for some of our brothers and sisters in the occupied zone: "the chair is against the wall, the chair is against the wall", "john has a long mustache, john has a long mustache". It's twelve o'clock, America, another day closer to victory. And for all of you out there, on, or behind the line, this is your song.
