To be fair, this isn't fresh Hillary on a media tour selling a book or an initiative or what ever she wants to do to remind us why she's so radioactive. This is some random guy using old quotes of hers.

That wasn't exactly hard to predict.

Except the part were he got elected.

I always explained voting for her in a simple way to others: "Hillary on her worst day would be a better President than Donald on his best day." Was she perfect? Nope. Did that make her bad? No, just human.

The media knew, and they knew he was great for ratings.

As for everyone else who voted for him, they knew he was corrupt and they didn't give a shiat.

Third party voters were f*cking infants.

If Hillary had squeaked out the few thousand votes needed in the swing states to win the EC, Democrats would not have learned their lesson about campaign strategy, and would've lost even more seats in Congress and state legislatures.

Hillary was to the left of Biden in her policies, so don't be acting like I'm anti-Hillary. The party's strategy was just terrible, and it took the equivalent of a nuclear bomb going off to change that strategy even just a little bit.

Yeah, because obviously if Clinton didn't personally visit your state close enough to the election, then you might as well let the fascists win.

It's too bad her campaign helped elevate his status in the media to make him the Republican nominee in the hopes that he would have been easier to beat. Maybe she shouldn't have risked the safety of the nation to placate her own ego.

Hillary has a good heaping portion of blame for all of this.

If Clinton visited my state during the election, I would be very concerned.

Since my state is an Australian one.

Some who voted for Trump were genuinely stupid. Someone I know is a woman of color, a single mother, and had reported two men for sexual harassment (at different times) who left our company. Apparently, Hillary was a liar.

Working at a defense connector, I'd been feeling my Republican and "Libertarian" co-workers gradually become Trumpistas, and I retired earlier than I'd intended. I thought that within two years, I'd go insane. Best decision I've made in many years.

Can you imagine a Hillary presidency with the GOP running Congress the whole time and then this pandemic hits?

James Randi died?  Oh fark me.  I totally missed that.  I have a great story about James from when I was tasked with picking him up and transporting him to and from the airport when he was a speaker at an atheist convention is Tuscaloosa Alabama in the late 90s.  I'm so sad now.  I don't have the energy to type the story.  :(

I also have a Intro to Logic textbook from around the same period that repeatedly used Trump as an example of an ad hominem logical fallacy, due to his history of giving business advice to others while being a multiple bankrupt.  My point is, you didn't have to be Nostradamus to see that Trump was a horrible human being, and would continue to be one in the future.

Also, Trump's full page ads in the NYT about The Central Park Five and pulling US forces out of foreign countries were also very racist and they were published in the 80s.

Trump is a marketing campaign in a monkey suit that the media has helped perpetuate since the 70s. Here's an "article" from the NYT in 1976 that compares Trump to Robert Redford. https://www.nytimes.com/1976/11/01/archives/donald-trump-real-estate-promoter-builds-image-as-he-buys-buildings.html

As a history major, I love the tragic irony of Cassandra's curse, but the difference is, Cassandra gave warnings that were tragically ignored, whereas everyone had been warned Trump was an asshole and a grifter, and a significant minority (enough to win the electoral college) voted for Trump because he was an asshole and a grifter, and they wanted someone like that to lead them.

Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. --George Carlin

It was on private land with a lake named Lake Hypatia.  Yeah, I was shocked to hear of it as well.  I was one of their guest speakers in... 1993?  I'm trying to remember.  I was on a panel telling the skeptics how great the Internet was and that they needed to embrace it to get the word out.
