I wonder why he isn't running some federal agency into the ground as we speak.

2020-10-21 8:37:25 PM
it would be more "effective" for the Trump campaign to focus on the economy

Oh, that's much better

Focus on the economy.  Look at this thriving Food Bank business.

Of course, being a Republican, by economy he really means "stock market."

How can you lose Karl Rove? Just look for shapen low grade factory meat with glasses and a face that a baby would punch streaming an endless billow of sulfur behind.

Nobody has a job, the place is completely in the shiatter, and they want to talk about the economy?

Please, by all means, proceed.

2020-10-21 10:15:56 PM
Noo, by all means keep harping about a man who isn't even running for office. The only people stupid enough to fall for it were already voting for Trump anyway. Please proceed.

...you're having a good day?

I left them on the table. They gotta be around here somewhere.

(stop looking!)

If you didn't know anything about what's been going on the last 4 years, this would still be an easy call.

If Karl Rove says Trump should talk about the economy, Trump probably shouldn't talk about the economy.

The economy? Where 4 million are now unemployed? Where come Nov 2, 20-40 million people will become homeless? Where just 600+ uber-billionaires added a trillion dollars to their net wealth during this pandemic while others are committing suicide because of uncertainty of what's to happen tomorrow or the day after?

Yeah, if I were Trump, I'd hump the Hunter.

perhaps the biden team should consider karl rove for a cabinet position

2020-10-21 11:37:12 PM
Luntz of all people was also making this very salient point.

You'd have to be a real numbnuts to think nepotism was a good angle of attack for Donald Trump, even considering the success of the "accuse your opponents of your own shortcomings" strategy in general. It may go down as one of the most idiotic campaigning decisions of our age, especially considering they've been trying and re-trying to make Hunter Biden a thing for months with zero traction. Trump's ego getting in his way. Let's hope it proves critical.

They haven't lost Carl rove or fox news, they are establishment people pissed Trump is losing with a crazy campaign.

Carl Rove would have found himself as a star defendant in the Nuremberg Trials.

Rove was a key architect of the plans that got us here today.

Rove is their most competent ally. I am admittedly grading on a curve but fark...

Because his accomplishments and compensation were astronomical by terms the public isn't fully aware, nor are you to have asked so naive a question.

Back in the Before Time, in Feb. 2020, I attended my state's Caucus. I arrived about a half hour before the start of the event at the local Middle School where it was held.

There was a long line going around the block, and I thought "Holy crap people are really fired up to participate in the Democratic Process this year"

Nope.

Turns out there was a food bank distribution on that same day, and these were families in need of food.

This was in February. Back when we supposedly had the "Best Economy Ever".

Back when we were watching videos of people falling over in the streets in China and saying "Wow, sure sucks to be those guys!"

Donald Trump went bust about 10 times. Maybe he managed what no-one else did.

Who recalls the statistic that was floated around during the making of Donner's Superman about how much Brando was paid per word? That was a lie, in a way, because of what hit the editing room floor, but the sensation of it was useful to LA and NY management firms and their insurance underwriters to "protect" the "talent".

The Turd Blossom so commands a price.

Haha eat shiat Karl.  my favorite me memory of Ham Rove was election night 2012 when it sunk in that Obama won and it also sunk in that Ham had gotten a lot of money from donors and they were very angry with him.

This reply makes as much sense as all of your posts. What you perceive as intellectual superiority is something that most professionals consider as needing medication.

Thanks to American Dad!, every time I hear or read the name Karl Rove I always head a wolf howl in the distance.

Trump is just flailing and hoping that something works. At this point, I think he's getting real close to going full Q and just start claiming all that Satanic pedophile cult is all true and Hillary is a part of it.

Campaign?

The good of the campaign?

I thought going after Hunter Biden was about truth and justice!

2020-10-22 12:22:32 AM
Trump's never had Rove.

Rove is evil as shiat, but is a very competent propagandist.  He's never really had anything but pure, uncut supercilious disdain for the farking pants-on-head morons running Trump's messaging, going all the way back to the days when it was a campaign and not an administration.

He's actually popped up to make mild comments on the order of "wow, that was even dumber than expected" about various PR clusterfarks Trump's messaging teams have tripped over their own dicks and fallen face first into here and there, though for the most part he's also avoided making himself obviously an enemy of them to the extent that'd make him a target or undermine the GOP as a whole, because... y'know, competent.

// I actually pay attention when Cheney says shiat since it's usually his actual opinion and he's smart enough to be interesting... Rove, not so much, since it's always empty maneuvering so the fact that he probably does know what he's talking about is too buried under his bullshiat to be of any use in gaining perspective on anything.

Yeah this, Rove is just mad Trump's not bringing the bacon to The Party after they spent the last 4 years propping him up.

And what has Cheney said lately?

Rove has expertise with how to design a survey to present a conclusion, which is a prior procedure of a series of surveys and altering the wording of a stem through iterations to achieve a framing of a question that had X support prior to an iteration and Y support after.

Surveys are a vital instrument in the field of Sociology and their manipulation is what Rove taught himself.
