(NPR)   Remember the Republicans who were outraged, OUTRAGED that Democrats took money from serial rapist and sexual harasser Harvey Weinstein and demanded they return it? They're taking a lot of money from serial rapist and sexual harasser Steve Wynn   (npr.org) divider line

Galileo's Daughter: But it's okay when they do it.  Right?

Just like they have no problem with the Koch family or Sheldon Adelson donating billions to conservative candidates and causes, but then vilify (((SOROS))) for bankrolling progressive initiatives.

Well, in fairness, the Democrats are the ones vilifying rape and sexual harassment, so Weinstein was a huge hypocrite.  For republicans, rape is practically a platform plank.

What do you expect from a party where its leader says, "Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."?

To be fair, republicans are broke and wouldn't be able to issue the refund check anyway.

To be fair, they booked more than a few tours with Epstein and his bevvy of underage prostitutes too, so really, it's not off-brand.

It always blows my mind that casino moguls like Wynn and Adelson screw over the poor.

Casinos are places the poor disproportionately go, yet these guys seem so hell-bent on policies that practically guarantee severe drops in discretionary income among the poor, thus screwing their casinos over.  Then again *looks at Trump* ... birds of a feather....

I remember those innocent days when Character Mattered.

Now? Character is for losers.

The profit margins from the "average" casino goer vs whales is SO out of whack that Casino owners really can afford to think of the average customer as disposable.

Let's not forget about Bezos, and how the Democrats are owned by the CCP and the oligarchs.
That one never fails to piss me off when I hear it.

Well when you see a chance, take it.

Oh wait, that's Steve Winwood.

I think the libs are just mad because when they take money from Steve Wynn, it's perfectly fine because Jesus Christ will forgive them. Jesus Christ can't forgive Democrats taking money from Weinstein because Democrats ignore the principles of Christianity in favor of Godless heathen behavior like taking care of the sick and poor, ensuring the rich pay their fair share, and making justice equal across all social economic classes.

They only care when its politically convenient.

Case in point. Our Republican AG in Missouri has just announced that he was going to go after massage parlors for human trafficking charges.

https://fox4kc.com/news/missouri-attorney-general-combatting-human-trafficking-by-closing-illegal-massage-parlors/

I'm sure the fact this was announced 2 weeks prior to his re-election is a mere coincidence.

"I have the receipts"

That sounds like something a crazy old man would say when he's trying to return something.

Question:

What did Steve Wynn (allegations of rape and sexual assault), Elliot Broidy (paid for mistress' abortion, laundering foreign campaign contributions), and Michael Cohen (what hasn't he done) have in common?

Answer:

Steve Wynn - Chair of the RNC Finance Committee in 2016
Elliot Broidy - Co-Deputy Chair of the RNC Finance Committee in 2016
Michael Cohen - Co-Deputy Chair of the RNC Finance Committee in 2016

It's in agreement with laws of nature that sexual harasser supports sexual harassers.

For Democrats it would be wrong, so they were right to object.
