(MSN)   Meadows says Trump didn't walk out of 60 Minutes interview. So stomping out like a two year old who didn't get his way whining how unfair everyone is while he is overdue for his nap?   (msn.com) divider line

Same way Meadows didn't commit campaign finance fraud. Exactly the same way, actually.

Ok. So what's he made about then? Not enough softball questions?

I wonder where that clown will work after Trump's ejection from the White House.

It's not too late for him to get a college education!

Maybe Leslie brought up that the big thick healthcare plan Spokesmodel Barbie handed her was a blank book.

My only question is, when does Mark Meadows start beating his wife and then be tossed in a loony bin?

Being on site for 45 minutes before stomping out isn't the same as being interviewed and nailing it, you lying sack of horse pus.

We told you!!!!

His diaper was full and he needed his afternoon nappy!!!

Is it wrong that every time I see Mark Meadows' name, I think of Brian Fellows?

2020-10-21 5:05:07 PM
Donald was just displaying alt-dignity.

2020-10-21 5:06:24 PM
Well, I'm sure if he didn't storm off, then there's no video of it happening...

I always think of Tim Meadows, but then I realize the Lady's Man wouldn't have anything to do with Trump.

Trump doesn't walk.

What does Tim Meadows know about thisvand why?

Was it like his Face the Nation interview where he just started to ignore him and shuffle papers in the oval office.

Just another opportunity to gaslight. Same as handing a giant blank book to a journalist, on camera, and telling them it's your healthcare plan, then calling them fake when they undoubtedly open it on camera.

Is that the White House Press Secretary, didn't she test positive for Covid like a week ago?

Its hard to tell apart all of Fox's and Donald's Blonds

Rumor has it she was mean to him. He didn't like the covid questions.

So logic dictates that one of the following occured:

a) a completely normal interview with question, response, counter-question, response clarification occured; the WH team thinks that the answers never strayed into territory what would harm the presidents image with his base and independent voters.

b) a biased interview where a series of loaded questions make the president appear to be a fool (or edited to look as such) which would have a negative effect on independents and perhaps is base.

c) the president showed that he was clearly incompetent...possibly dropped the n-bomb. WH staffers where quickly updating their CV's and calling their headhunters.

The only scenario where the president could get in front of the damage by posting the full video unedited would be b) because in b) the reporter's editor could do some fine cutting and splicing to make trump look bad if they so desired. Worried what the interview mightlook like makes you want to get out in front of the story.

a) and c) can't be it because the reporter would simply release the unedited video to counter anything that the WH team would cut and splice together.

But here's the catch....a smart news room editor would assume that the WH would just show the full video for context if b) where to occur. So why risk damaging your brand. You would still get to show the president flubbing questions.

So what probably happened is  c) on (or lack of) steroids...he completely lost it or was shown some undeniable fact that burst one of his reality bubbles and threw a fit. The threat to post the video ahead of Sunday was an empty one because that is all he knows what to do.

LOL
Every swinging dick in the Trump WH will get a cushy job somewhere making more than the average Farker
Never forget while Trump was putting kids in cages the MSM focused on Sarah Huckabee not being able to get a taco because of mean Liberals
And besides Trump supporters will need a voice on every show on every network, because the average Trump supporter has more time to watch TV then the average Never-Tumper

Now You can think no this is different but it's not
I half expect Trump to end up with a show on CBS or CNN

No need to give these people the benefit of the doubt at this point.

Right there is simply a couple of reams of paper that they bound together.

"White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany later claimed that Trump "continually fact-checked" Stahl, whom she called "unprepared.""

You see, she just didn't know that administrations talking points at all.  Has she not been watching Fox News?  This isn't how this is done.

Given where trump is right now it may be his least bad option

* The 50% of the electorate that hates him and wants him gone will watch the 60 minutes version, or have already voted
* The 10% 'persuadable' voters are gonna see the 60 Minutes version if they see anything
* The 40% of the electorate that are MAGA rubes may actually be inclined to just watch trump's version, so while trump doesn't gain anything, it may help to prevent another small sliver of rubes from sitting out the election, or giving up on team trump

I find it so surreal.  As if the 60-min folks aren't going to have footage of Trump walking out?  It's so easy to refute, but they put it out anyway, so the BS can just sort of fester out there in the world for a few hours.

We're going to see a video of it happening in a few days, so why lie about it when your lie is going to be exposed so easily?  Because 40% of the voters will believe him over their lyin' eyes, that's why.  Fortunately, 40% of the vote won't get you elected without a couple of very strong 3rd party spoiler candidates, which we don't have in this rodeo.  Trump doesn't care much about anything but solidifying that 40%, for some reason.

The problem with Trump trying to be a Strongman is that he's neither strong nor, in the maturity sense, a man.

Maybe to gaslight and pretend he's the victim after getting called out. Maybe a conman not thinking about the ramifications of getting too real with the prop. Maybe he is so addled he saw the big book and forgot it's blank and his brain went to "it's big so it must be a yuge bestest deal ever to be yugely dealt".

Fox will never show the video, so 40% of the people will never see it

That just sounded like a threat to release the full interview online if the network didn't cooperate.  It's totally Trump logic to think that tanking ratings for the episode would be a valid strong arm tactic.

2020-10-21 6:30:26 PM
Right. And Meadows didn't steal campaign funds to buy his wife a gawdy pearl necklace.

/We know about the necklace so chances are good there is Kompromat as well.

Like Trump, his words mean nothing.

The MAGA rubes will watch it and come to the conclusion that Trump NAILED IT, the best interview ever, he dazzled Lesley Stahl with his firehose of factual information---she couldn't keep up because Trump is 10,000x smarter than she is.

They've probably already reached that conclusion, no need to watch the video.
