I love the sight of animals just working on their own stuff, not finding food or a mate, but doing their own projects. Like we do in our yards or whatever. I think it's cool, kinda "rounds" them out as beings, if you know what I mean.

I think eventually we are going to realize that animals have just as much right to do their own thing as we do, as living creatures on this planet.

Beavers are adorable.

And per the show I watched on PBS awhile ago, they create habitats. Yes, they cut down a bunch of trees. But then they create wetlands, in which other creatures can live. Plants grow, ponds appear, then come the insects and birds and other stuff.
