I don't like guns. But the risk of losing a body part during a fight does have a tendency to make chickens terrified.

Reminds me of an old joke with the punchline, "I'd try but I don't think I can fit another dinner roll in my ass!"

I always thought that biting in a fight was a girl thing, along with pulling hair? I've never been a fighter

An odd aside: When I was about 10 there was a waitress with no nose that worked at a tiny Cafe downtown. The first time my brother took me to the cafe, before we went in he lectured me about not staring at the lady. It was stare-worthy, almost nothing was left, I never found out what actually happened to her but there were numerous takes on it.

I've never been a fighter, so I was the one curled in a ball on the ground. I was and pretty much still am a shrimp so I never looked for fights.

The rare Tycho Brahe rejoinder. Extra point.

Maybe she ran afoul of someone well-versed in the Filipino martial art dedicated to biting?

That was interesting. Thanks.

I've mentioned this before, most people in a fight try to hit, some few people in a fight try to hurt. These are the (dangerous) ones that would throw stuff, hit with anything solid at hand and would slam doors on people.
It's a different mentality.
Of the martial arts I've studied, Shaolin Kung Fu came the closest in terms of destructiveness, but still didn't have enough emphasis on "dirty" fighting.
