(Fark)   TFer wants to hire a minor celebrity to do a bit of voiceover (no more than 15 minutes) for something. Budget should not be an issue, however hidden costs. Anyone done this before? Give advice and/or talk me out of it here   (fark.com) divider line

If you know who you want, contact their agent first. They will give you general information.

I'm a game developer. Even a good, unknown voice over artist is going to cost decent money.

I was paid about 2800 for doing work on a BBC documentary.  And that was 8ish minutes total run time.


Who makes a documentary on BBCs? Do they call it a documentary because they following one guy around?

How long did take to record all that?

From beginning to end?  With editing, having to re-record a section to do changing script, then re-recording another part due to a mispronunciation (which they didn't tell me about the first time).....

90 minutes?
