They are finally figuring out that the avatar of the seven deadly sins plays for the other team?

2020-10-19 11:01:42 AM
Now if only they can make the leap to recognizing that voting to impose their religious values over others isn't what Jesus would do.

Baby steps I guess.

Not God's chosen one, for sure.

I'd like to hear the opinion of that "famous" pastor who peed on that woman on their flight.

He's right in trumps wheel house with that one.

These same hypocrites in 2 years will be all "Trump? Trump? Yeah, never liked the guy. Remember guys? How we all hated Trump? Remember that?"

2020-10-19 11:34:08 AM
They've gotten all the judges they wanted. He's no longer useful to them. It's time to pretend to be Christian again.

What makes you say that?

Now that it appears he's losing, a lot of people suddenly don't love Trump anymore.

Piss off, you opportunistic assholes. You can't unfark a pig. Wait. I like pigs. You can't  unfark a distasteful animal I'm unable to reference at the moment.

Can't start your morning without a hot cup of CYA. If Donny is the chosen one then GOD himself would ensure victory. Now that there is a chance Trump might lose they are faced with A)Trump not being the chosen one, B) god not being as involved as they would have you believe, C) there is no god.

2020-10-19 11:41:47 AM
Are these the conservative Christians who are pretending they didn't like Trump all along because they got what they want and it looks like he might lose, the slightly less conservative Christians who think that being gay isn't a worse sin than other sins and are mad that people think they're homophobic, or the minority of liberal Christians who are fighting for control of the brand and acting like the Religious Left is going to surge and take over any day how (like they have been for the last 20 years?)

2020-10-19 11:42:14 AM
Rev. William Barber...that name sounds familiar.

Oh.  I remember now.  Yeah, he's been anti-Two Scoops from the jump, and shows up on MSNBC regularly.

You want to surprise me, tell me Osteen or Hagee have decided to flip.

Turns out the Christian apocalypse movies were wrong after all, the anti-Christ might not have a British accent!

D. They got paid to say good things about Trump.

Oh, this is the "Not Our Faith" super-PAC? We've had threads about them before. I'm just impressed that they're so infatuated with the #NotAllChristians hashtag that they decided to make a political advertising organization out if.

He appeals to spiritually weak losers who latch on to winning teams so they can feel like a winner by proxy, and equate winning with strength.

Guys in Nebraska who have never set foot east of the Mississippi River who love the Patriots.

The only reason they are speaking out now is because they think they got all their judge appointments to turn over Roe v. Wade as well as other court issue they can impose on the masses. This isn't a finding God moment, it's their own self interests are served and now they're tossing out the trash.

There was a former evangelical christian who pretty much laid bare the ground game in an interview. They intended upon using Dumpster as an unwitting instrument knowing that he would Sharpie farking anything as long as it could be contorted to appeal to his ancephalic base. They hitched their wagons to the crazy train on a proximity to power pay to play scheme and are now expressing remorse now that they realize they are headed straight into a canyon of hell. fark 'em. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. -2 Timothy 4:3-4

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. -Matthew 7:15-16

Atheists and agnostics shouldn't have to quote their own book at them. We knew way too much about Donald's fruits before he got elected the first time.

Why stop at 6 judges? With another 4 years they might be able to get 7 or even 8 and really enact their recreation of the Inquisition.

Nobody truly believed Trump was a devout or even practicing Christian. They did believe, and were proven correct, that he would fight for their rights to free expression of their religion. The nomination of ACB helped in that regard too.

MSNBC is as partisan as they come so I'm not surprised to see this spin emerge from them.

If nothing else, I do hope that the nomination of shiite Catholic ACB makes the protestant Evangelicals sphincters itchy, if only a little. It would be the only good thing to come out of this mess.

Very famous evangelical pastors swore up-and-down that it was true in the lead-in to 2016, though.

Specifically? The religious freedom to nullify gay marriages and overturn Roe v Wade. Possibly introduce Creationism into school curriculum. I grew up evangelical and our church was literally obsessed with those topics. Also prayer in school.

These two aren't "Evangelicals" who recently changed their mind. Rev. Barber has been protesting Republican policies in the North Carolina capitol since 2013.

Wear was an Obama staffer.
