It's Cousins through next season.  No chance the Vikes eat a $41 million dead cap hit.

And it is not all Cousins' fault.  The defense has given up 192 points.  Last in the league.

God is not a Vikes fan.

But throwing the most interceptions in the league, is that on him? Are his receivers just running the wrong routes?

I remember when a lot of the national sports media people were picking the Vikings to win the division.
Good times.

He's defeated the Packers when it mattered most. That should count for something.

As a Vikings game, we are accustomed to spectacular failure, but normally they wait until later in the year after we have begun to hope.

Acquiring Cousins is about on par with the Herschel Walker trade and the massive loss of starters via free agency is ridiculous, even if a few were past their prime.

Jefferson is a great addition. Dalvin Cook is an amazing talent for the 10% of the year he isn't hurt. Adam Thelen is pretty good.

That's all we have to warm us for the next 3 months. (It's snowing today BTW).

I just love that they went all in on this guy.

Cousins is so white privilege his last name is his preferred type of women.

Glad Washington at least avoided paying him $$$...

Right guard was down to the third string on Sunday. Every year, they start out thinking they have a starting offensive line. Three of the five can't start on other teams. They have no depth, so injuries devastate them within a few games.
They spent too much money on Cousins. If they did better with OL, a mediocre QB would be sufficient. They have skill players on offense, just not a good decision maker to get it to them when passing, and don't have the OL to punch holes for their pretty decent running backs.

Why do they have only one back up QB? Who is the emergency QB, some dude that played QB in high school? I remember when Brian Mitchell had to play a few series for Washington:
1st down: Option left.
2nd down: Option right.
3rd down: Option left.

Trevor Lawrence! He's already got the Viking hair.

good call on the herschel walker trade.

the franchise has issues with qb's always has. gannon, moon, cunningham, favre

ive been a fan for nearly 30 years, and it is what it is. when they traded for cousins i went oh shiat. i knew it wasnt a good move, and the amount of money they paid was foreshadowing they couldnt pay the rest of the roster. terrible decision
