(YouTube)   Hey, remember that time when Eddie Van Halen hogged the bathroom on "Two and a Half Men"? "That's called two burritos and a root beer float"   (youtube.com) divider line

That song went on to become "As Is," which is featured on the criminally underrated "A Different Kind of Truth" album with DLR.

Great farking song on a great farking album, their best since "Fair Warning," IMO.

I remember that episode.  Will Sasso cracked me up in his small role.

A joke about a huge dump on a show which, itself, was a huge dump.

It was never high art but when the kid was a little kid the show worked and was decently funny.

In other EVH news, before he died, he was preparing to auction off two of his guitars:

Some of the music was reworked material from their early days that hasn't been released, so it was something of a formula for success.

There are recordings that exist on YouTube - the ones I recall are "Down In Flames", which had guitar riffs that were reused on "Tattoo" and their 2nd album cover of "You're No Good", and am early version of "She's The Woman", with different lyrics and a guitar riff that was later used on "Mean Streets".

I don't remember that, but I do remember the episode where Steven Tyler kicked Charlie's ass (off camera).

When the kid was little, the show was actually pretty good if you focused on him. Then he got bigger and awkward and they didn't know what to do with him anymore.

What was the guitar plugged into?

CaptainFatass: ghostfacekillahrabbit: What was the guitar plugged into?

The inside joke is, EVH had a 1/4-inch jack plugged into the bathroom of his studio, right where the TP dispenser was, so he could record while sitting on the can, if inspiration struck, which is true.

Still, Two and a Half Men sucked donkey balls.

That must've been where he came up with his "brown" sound.

Agreed that it's good, but better than Diver Down or 1984? I wouldn't go that far.
