Has he even read Section 4 of the 25th Amendment? Keep this up, Don, and we get a President Pence on about November 7th.

Those assholes must know that they've gotten all they'll ever get out of Trump once Barrett sails through. A raging lame-duck Trump will only hurt their future prospects. Plus they'd be able to claim "we put a stop to the Trump regime, so we're all good now, right?"

I hope we remember that they were the bad guys the whole time even if they do the necessary at the end.

All he can hope for is a stellar performance in the debate Thursday and hope that Biden farks up somehow.

The infighting if he loses will be epic. He'll be lashing out at every Republican while every Republican tries to pretend that they were secretly against Trump the whole time.

Trump earlier this month expressed frustration with a pair of his most loyal Cabinet members - Attorney General William Barr and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo - for what he described as a failure to implicate his political enemies in wrongdoing.

Isn't this exactly what he is accusing Obama of doing and saying is illegal?

Yeah, this is what I'm hoping for. I'm guessing it won't stop Amy Barrett from being put on SCOTUS sadly, but it might cause the party to completely turn on each other. A lot of that might depend on how many seats they lose in the House and Senate as well.

It would be nice to start seeing people turning on Mitch... if Senators lose their seats in droves but Mitch does not... I know I'd be pissed and would spend my last few months in office to destroy him.

at first I thought that if Trump loses he's going to burn it all down before Jan 2021 but when has he or his crew ever shown any competence. This is now the scenario I see.

It's only a mistake when there are tangible consequences being reaped as a direct result of the action.

You think they'll actually force him to get tested this time?  I mean, Biden will insist, right?  Right?

Ever notice how there's always someone else Trump blames?

It is always the fault of the media, or Obama, or Hillary, or Biden, or Democratic governors, or Republican governors, or his own hand-selected politicians, or his lawyers, or his campaign staff...

The only common denominator is Trump.

If only I could figure out what that indicates!

This could be a good thing. Trump is so self-destructive that it could be exactly what America needs. If Trump turns on his own people two weeks before the election, maybe America will get the only gift it really wants this holiday season, the 25th Amendment! :D

It would be funny as hell if the plan all along was to blame all the racist stuff on him.

Think Hitler surviving and fleeing to Switzerland and then claiming everything was Goebbels' and Himmler's fault. They were blackmailing him.

Because Mitch is protecting him even more actively than Barr. And Donnie knows it.
