I remember some sort of contest where they decided which one was going to be discontinued. Quisp won and Quake was gone. They were the same cereal, but different shapes.

In the UK they are "Yummy Mummies" in the US it is "MILF Cereal".

Nerds cereal was the best. They even made a nerds cereal bowl that had a divider so you could have both flavors to mix when you wanted. Article implies it was made from the candy, but wasnt. Just good ass 80s cereal.

Also pretty sure i saw c-3p0s on the shelf recently.

Amazing advertising campaign that hooked many kids, including me. However the cereal tasted like styrofoam. Even as a 8 year old kid I hated it. But the ad campaign was incredible.

General Mills loves its monster cereals. Yummy Mummy was also called Fruit Brute for a bit, but neither iteration exists anymore alongside the other monsters: Count Chocula, Boo-Berry, etc. Yummy Mummy, which we only got to enjoy in the late '80s and early '90s, had marshmallow bats in it, which were the best part of this cereal.

Yummy Mummy and Fruit Brute were two separate cereals, although they weren't all that different.

Fruit Brute: Orange
Yummy Mummy: Cherry
Boo-Berry: Blueberry
Franken-Berry: Strawberry
Count Chocula: Chocolate

All pretty much had the same cereal shape w/ different flavors/colors.  Fruit Brute and Fruity Yummy Mummy were re-released in 2013.

Author needs to do some research on the last one because Trix brought back fruit shapes just a couple months ago.

I remember this one from the 70s. Eating this in front of the tv watching cartoons. Good times.

Last time I bought Boo Berry, my bowel movements were a rich British racing green in color. Almost like hunter green, bit not.

Quips has been, and always will be my favorite childhood cereal. When they started remaking it a while back I was beyond happy. Not real happy at the price, but it allows me a chance once or twice a year to enjoy some childhood memories

Tasted like Captain Crunch to me.  I can still sing the commercial about the freakies tree.

Meh, I remember a few. Any discontinued "children's" cereal is, for the most part, forgettable and not worth bringing back.

There are a handful of flavors, so a lot of them basically taste the same as many others, the rest is sugar, shapes and food coloring.

For me, Froot Loops will never be bested. Captain Crunch is a pretty close second. The rest: *shrug*
