When it comes to fantasy football, all games are equal, subby.

I'm not convinced any of this isn't going to just be a giant sham, but whatever.

Serious question: Is there any way the league could get a rash of positive tests this morning and cancel a game? I mean, at this point it's almost too late to do it, isn't it?

And that whole "they're giving up 29.8 ppg" thing, going up against their third real offense (1-1) and second real defense (0-1)....

I predict an easy laugher for the Colts v. Bengals.

So far it has been night and day vs. 1-31 bad, and we look better than the normal 3-13 to 7-9 Browns.  That being said, between the injuries and having 4 games vs. Ravens and Steelers, well....

There is no "Battle of Pittsburgh". The only Browns fans crazy enough to admit that in Pittsburgh are on their way back to Cleveland in 3 hours. There is no struggle for the heartstrings of the city.

The game is a different matter. Pittsburgh will win this game, though Cleveland will make it interesting. It's nice that there's a rivalry again instead of pity as the Browns are dispatched repeatedly with ease.

Pittsburgh by a touchdown in a hard-hitting game.

Today will be a true test.

A true test of how little cleaning I can get done in the basement without my wife getting mad while still justifying being sequestered in the basement all day watching football, I mean "cleaning".

My over/under is "not very much", with a presumed check-in time somewhere around halftime of the afternoon game.  Note that this spread is affected by my wife's booted, broken ankle and the fact that I'll be downstairs, reducing her desire to check and make sure I'm doing something instead of eating popcorn and browsing sports memes while 4+ games are on in the background.

Pittsburgh is missing DeCastro, a big loss, and Diontae Johnson, somewhat less but still notable. Still better than playing a practice squad QB for more than half a season.

Rooting for the Browns to hand the Steelers a loss (Ravens, ie Ratbirds fan).  When you wish your team was in the NFC East rather than 2nd place at 4-1...

There's still no evidence that Mason Rudolph said anything he was accused of days after the incident. If there was the only person to beat Tomlin throwing him off the team would be Maurkice Pouncey.

In any case, Pittsburgh will finish it. As usual.

There's at least one Browns bar in Pittsburgh. Can't remember the name of it but it was in the Bloomfield/East Liberty part of town.

You're not wrong, Cleveland and Detroit (football) have so very long suffering fans. I see the Browns becoming relevant faster than Detroit though.

cool!  Pix?

was kinda thinking the same thing, although time isn't on my side;  kinda craving a nice hearty beef / barley stew.  AZ's heat wave FINALLY ended, it was 66 this morning.  so to 'celebrate' the end of summer, a nice 8-10 hour crock pot beef stew sounds nice.

prob make it tomorrow.  have enough leftovers.
