"best" part of that, besides forever, is that it would have raised the price of their shiatty pizza by like $.25 a pie. A farking quarter is too much for Papa John to ensure his employees are cared for.  And that makes me wonder what he does when the price of cheese, flour, pepperoni etc goes up


I believe it was 15 cents/pie.

A better world for $0.15?

In the 1700s most of his employees would have been slaves. Only white males could vote, and since there was no secret ballot, their employers would know who they voted for.

I watched Dems sweep Dumbya's lies and crimes under the rug in the name of ""healing" and moving forward" bedore and I have little faith that the Dems will do anything different this time.

/Of course I just got up and haven't even had coffee yet so maybe I will feel differently later.

In the 1700s, every place on Earth went out of their way to insure no one who wasn't a 1%er could vote.  This man would have been lauded as a True Defender of [insert whatever nation you want].  The only people who would have been horsewhipped were his employees.  Then put in prison.  Then never get out because the room, board, and fees they would have been charged to be in prison would have vastly outstripped the meager pay they received before they lost their jobs for being in prison.  Well, actually, lost their jobs for daring to act like they had any rights - and then put in prison for daring to think they had any rights.  And I'm making the assumption all of the employees are white Christian men - get rid of any of those and they aren't going to prison, they are hanging from a tree at the edge of town.
