THREE THIRTY!??? Laaaaaaate late late if I'm the first one here, it's LAAAAAATE

Anyway. Hello, everyone. Welcome to your GRAF:

Fark user imageView Full Size

Are the Steelers actually that good? Are they?

And your hashtag facts:

Change from Week 1 to this week:
Two 11-point drops: Vikings, Falcons
One 9-point jump: Rams

Two teams are WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! The Chiefs& Lions are at their Week 1 ranking.AND WE LET 'EM OFF THE HOOK!

Change from last week to this week:
Four 3-point drops: Falcons, Texans Jaguars, Cardinals
One 7-point jumps: Panthers?

Eleven teams did not change rankings: I'm not listing all of those

Difference between high rank & low rank:
Lowest fluctuation: Chiefs with 0
Highest fluctuation: Browns with 11
Average fluctuation is 6.47

Most spots traveled (largest overall fluctuation):Browns with 18

Teams hitting their highest rank this week: Seahawks, Packers, Colts, Browns, Panthers, Bengals
Teams hitting their lowest rank this week: Ravens, 49ers, Cowboys, Texans, & Falcons

ONE team has held the #1 spot: Chiefs. Show-offs.

FTFA talking about the Football Team:

Also: In the past 20 years, Washington has started 1-3 three times and hasn't yet finished better than 6-10. Of course, that might win the division by a game this year

There's no way WFT gets 6 wins. They might still win the dumpster fire that is the NFC Least though. By God, is that division terrible.

If my Jake math is correct, it's going to Nick Mullens this week (50.0, tied with Brett Rypien who had the winner's exemption).

Meanwhile, the Browns have as many wins as the teams they've beaten combined and the team they lost to.

Cows are too high. ESPN should rank us 32 after that performance. Good grief that was bad. I didn't even come to the Sunday Fark thread because i couldn't find a paper bag to put over my head.  (ok, in reality I was helping out Mrs. cfreak with chores while the game was on in the background)

They play the Lions, the Bengals, and the Gnats twice. I could see them winning all 4 of those.  Toss in a win against the Cows and you have 6. They could even beat the Eagles again depending on how they look at the end of the season (Eagles is their last game).

Looking at remaining schedules (well ignoring the Gnats because I don't think they'll win more than 2 no matter what). It looks like the Eagles have the hardest schedule because they drew the Packers from the NFC North where as WFT plays the Lions and Dallas plays the Vikings.  That difference will probably lead to the Cows winning the division at 8-8 and the Eagles going 7-9. (I think they'll split against each other as they do in most seasons).

Not that it matters much. I suspect the winner of the NFC East to get destroyed in the first round of the playoffs.

I want a rule that says if the division leader is .500 or lower, they are disqualified for the playoffs and the spot goes to the team that just missed the WC2 slot.

I think it really depends on when they play the Lions as to whether or not thats an "easy" win.

If they play Detroit AFTER they fire Patricia, i'm willing to bet that's going to be a much harder game to win. At this point, the Prego stains on Matty P's wife beater could coach that team to a win better than Matty P can.

Any given Sunday.  WFT might still lose to a Patricia-led Lions. It's winnable but not guaranteed.

Which is the frustration with the entire NFC East. Especially with the Cows and Eagles. Both teams have had stellar talent for years but neither of them can get out of their own way and play complimentary to all phases. The last 4 years should have been both teams winning 11+ games and beating the hell out of each other for maximum sports entertainment. Now the winner is always the one that manages to be the least inept at the end of the season.

The 4-8-4 iggles make the playoffs over the 6-10 cows due to the regular season sweep.

And they host the WC Saints and beat them because 2020.

Yes, they probably are. But they can only beat the teams on the schedule. It's not their fault they get a Patriots-type schedule this year.

We'll find out soon enough. They get the Rats twice, and the Titans when they finally get their problems squared away. And hey, maybe the Browns are for real this year. And maybe I got jokes, too.

The way they're playing, #1 seed is theirs:  Kansas City, Green Bay
Playoff teams unless something radically changes:  Indianapolis, Baltimore, Seattle, San Francisco (assuming Jimmy G returns), Cleveland, LA Rams, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, New Orleans
Wait-and-see teams:  Tennessee, Carolina, New England (Cam has to return), Chicago, Arizona
Mediocre teams that will keep things close:  Cincinnati, Minnesota, LA Chargers, Miami, Atlanta, Las Vegas
Teams that can't stop ANYONE, but can score points:  Detroit, Jacksonville, Washington, Dallas
Bad:  Denver, Philadelphia, Houston
Worst:  NY Jets, NY Giants

Not saying Chicago is actually a really good team, but that was pretty harsh.
