Nope.

This is the same guy who had to eat his words about the "four blood moons" in 2015 meaning the End Times were about to begin.

I gotta say, that 2015 being right before 2016, he could be right.  Life definitely took a turn then.

If you had to pick a yeast that the end times began 2015 wouldn't be a bad choice.  I'd go with 2016, but still.

Christianity, like most religions, comes with a nice instruction manual.  Unfortunately, humans suck at reading and properly understanding manuals.

I would have a lot more time for Christianity if its devotees could agree on what the manual says and if they didn't skip past the four bits they don't like. You know, the ones with that annoying hippy in them.

This guy right here. I'm glad to hear of this one. My mother, who passed away in February, hung on this guy's every word. Bought all those goddamned red moon books, and then refused to acknowledge that the guy had been wrong. I had to endure quite a few of his hateful sermons over the years and I can honestly say I hope it hurts and I hope he's scared.

It's not a manual, it's a diary.
Some of it is advice on how to do stuff..
Some of it is advice on how NOT to do stuff...

Me? I think there are an awful lot of stories that just show generations that follow "well look what happened when this dumb bastard did this!" Or "don't use juniper bush berries for table snacks" or "wash your hands and wear a mask"

A Soap Opera for the Ages.

Freud's Cigar: He "covets your prayers." Seriously, who the fark talks like this?

He covets other people's prayers because his were useless and ineffectual.  The prayers of the righteous availeth much.  Basically, he's the living embodiment of pride going before the fall.  And it makes for great discussion with kids as to why you should not be standing up in public, claiming to have all knowledge.  Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

I love it when the shysters get the COVID. It's a beautiful thing really. Especially when said shysters work to actively endanger others like this guy did.

So, didn't John Hagee leave his Wife and run off with his secretary, I never had any respect for the guy personally. His church sits on a huge piece of prime land, using immunity from taxes to get bigger, a prime example of why that law needs to be revoked. Just give it time... Let them have a bake sale to keep the lights on. People like him are the problem.

I don't disagree. It's more the odd vocabulary. Covet. How about "ask for" "wants" "desires" etc.

It reminds me when I first moved to the South and a coirker was talking about "having fellowship" at his church. I had never heard that term before and asked what it meant. Basically, it meant they were getting together for coffee and gossip. But "fellowship" sounds so much....loftier?
