"Additionally, he disputed that he ever fought against regulations to quell the disease or fought miners from receiving benefits.

Murray also threatened to file a lawsuit if a story was published that indicated he had fought federal regulations and benefits."

Yup.

Murray, who is now 80 years old, writes that he is heavily dependent on the oxygen tank he is frequently seen using, and is "near death."

Not only is he a grifter "Murray and his nephew and now CEO of the company, Robert Moore, viewed the mining company as a "family piggy bank" and cited a "disturbing pattern of self dealing and abuse of corporate resources." he's getting off scot free "As is common in coal bankruptcies, Murray and its successor company were relieved of any obligation to pay existing black lung benefits by the bankruptcy court."

Oh, and he's a TRUMP supporter.

Death can't come soon enough for these a$$holes.

Gee, that's a shame.

I've got a lot going on right now, but in addition to the sympathy included in this post I will spare a quarter thought and the opening words of a prayer. Maybe someone else can piggy back on my sentiments. Is there a GoFundMe-type website for cobbling together thoughts and prayers from multiple people?

I could have sworn I saw an earlier thread titled "Eat Shiat Bob".
However this one will do. Enjoy your coal-shortened life you fat fu*ck.

Even though i don't get in for hocus pocus supernatural stuff.
People like this make me wish old testament god was real.

No one can understand how much personal suffering i would choose to endure, if it meant liars and cheats would suffer even half as much with me.

I prefer the previous headline: Eat shiat, Bob

He has black lung?

He caught it in the Karma Mine.

And that's a cryin' shame.

So does that make this a repeat?

Good. I still remember the day he bludgeoned Nancy Kerrigan and watched her cry for fun.

If he is broke enough to have to deal with all of the hell of applying for government benefits without anyone to help him I think this could be a real teaching moment for this individual. That doesn't make up for any of the shenanigans he pulled to cause others to die broke and in agony at all but it would be some small sliver of karmic justice.

Wasn't the running joke with coal miners for a century that the retirement benefits were so good because no miner ever lived long enough to collect it?
