Not to worry. After Joe gets elected, Hillary will be in the wings, ready Pelican Brief a couple of conservative justices. That woman does wonders with piano wire and is not bad with the stiletto.

Woman about to dramatically shift the balance of power in the SCOTUS warned of such a shift in 2016?

Of course she did.

How about instead of the implication we stack the Court, we just let these Supreme Court justices under Trump know we'll prosecute with the standard we prosecuted Trump, once we've investigated Russia's interference in 2016 "for realsies?"

I imagine you'll have some vacancies open up mighty quick.

Corporate Personhood is the single most blasphemous concept ever invented by mankind (claiming the authority to create a whole new kind of Person and endow it with "rights" ostensibly equal to [actually greater than in practice] the Rights of Persons that these people claim that God gave us ["endowed by their Creator"]) and is the Great Beast of Revelation Chapter 13. Right-wing so-called "Christianity" (all of it, especially in the USA) is the Second Beast aka False Prophet since it has allied itself with the Great Beast and, especially via Prosperity "Gospel," deceives its followers into worshiping the Great Beast.

The GOP is the Third Beast aka the Scarlet-Coloured Beast of Chapter 17 (see their own official logo on their Twitter feed or Instagram page, etc.), and has been since they allied with the Great Beast via the Teapot Dome scandal under Harding. There have been ten GOP Presidents starting with Harding. Trump is #10. Chapter 17 says that the ten horns of this Beast are symbolic instead of literal, and represent ten "kings" that reign along with this Beast.

The person who told me all this a couple decades ago claimed to be one of the Two Witnesses. He also prophesied that the GOP would change their logo well over a decade before they actually did it. He even said what they would change it to (a literal scarlet-coloured beast). To be fair, he didn't say it was the GOP. He said it was one of the USA's two major parties, and that whichever it was would reveal its identity by changing its logo to a literal scarlet-coloured beast sometime between bringing its ninth and tenth horn/kings to power. The GOP logo change was around 2014.

I dismissed him as a loon at the time. Now I'm not so sure.

Would you object if I wrote an article about that interpretation?

I've seen you post that before and was intrigued. I grew up reading the Bible cover to cover each year, and Revelations was always my favorite (causing much hand-wringing) because it was the only one that hadn't happened yet. I hadn't heard that compelling analysis before.

It would also fit into a work of fiction I've been outlining, set in "Atlantis."

Even though you would probably never find out, I thought I would ask if you objected. It would feel like plagiarism to me otherwise.

And if I make lots of money off it, I promise to drink a beer in your honor.

holyflurkingschnitt: I'll believe it, why not. Lets call it P-anon!

More like either R-anon (Revelation) or B-anon ("Bands" was what this guy called himself, after one of the Two Staves of the LORD in Zechariah Chapter 11 [intriguing since Revelation Chapter 11 is where the Two Witnesses are described] ― the other is "Beauty" and even "Bands" didn't know who that is [nothing in the Bible says that they know each other]). R-anon would be the next letter after Q-anon so it'd fit better.

Sorry for the delay. The #TrumpHasCOVFEFE news distracted me until now when I finall noticed these replies.

Where would this article be published? I don't want to be connected with it publicly yet for various reasons. Also, much of this is based on nearly two decades old memory. I'd frankly forgotten about "Bands" for years. Seeing the new GOP logo bothered me for reasons I couldn't quite get a handle on until I suddenly made the connection, and I then struggled to remember what all he'd said over the years we were in communication.

The main thing I'm absolutely sure of because it was the key focus of his rants was that the United States of America, far from being some great God-blessed God-established Exemplar Christian Nation like the right-winger Talibangelicals think, is pretty much the 180° diametric opposite of that: it's Babylon the Great! That the entire North American continent would be utterly destroyed as a land mass in a cataclysm that would look to the world to have a physical cause, to not necessarily be a miraculous divine judgment. Much of his website was describing how that would happen, involving underground gas wells, fracking ("water replacement" as he called it) bringing oxygen down into those, a possible meteorite hitting a gas well and igniting it, starting a chain reaction that would be the biggest explosion ever to happen on the planet, far worse than any hypervolcano, though it would also trigger the Yellowstone Caldera and probably the Canary Islands in a combination catastrophe, along with our underground nuke silos. The vast fossil fuel wealth under our soil that enabled us to become a world power would be the thing that destroys us because of our misuse of it ("I have set a trap for thee, O Babylon.").

He was also adamant that at least some, if not all, of America's churches were collectively the Second Beast aka False Prophet.

Some things that have come to mind (at lease one suggested by another Farker) since I wrote the recollections in the link above that aren't (so far as I recall) directly from "Bands" but fit well with his "discernments" of scripture: Revelation 16 mentions curses caused by angels pouring out bowls ("vials" in the KJV) of God's wrath on various things, such as the sea (second angel) and lakes and rivers (third angel) which become "as the blood of a dead man" (red tide? Other chemical pollution?) and the sun (fourth angel) which is given power to burn with great heat, and men were scorched by the great heat (the very global warming and/or ozone depletion that the Talibangelicals and Prosperity "Gospel"-ites, mouthpieces of the corporations that they are, vehemently deny!). But Revelation 11 has the Four-and-Twenty Elders before the throne of God prostrating themselves before Him and uttering a praising and imprecatory prayer that concludes that the time has come for Him to "... destroy them that destroy the Earth!" Obviously this wouldn't be referring to those angels since God sent them to pour out those bowls of His wrath. Unless that's symbolic, and He was using this to subtly indicate that it'd be human beings, perhaps organized as the Great Beast of Corporate Personhood, that'd do these things? Back then if anyone, even a prophet or Apostle, had said outright that human beings would ever have the power to cause such global disasters, nobody would've taken any of the book seriously.

Later in chapter 16 we read of "three unclean spirits like frogs" that issue forth from the mouths of the three Beasts to deceive the nations with their utterances. Why would they be needed if the Beasts themselves would be speaking unclean blasphemies and deceptions as described? Maybe they're needed to speak even more unclean things that the Beasts themselves could claim plausible deniability of since it's not them saying it? Who'd fit that? The Alt-Right. The Seven Mountains Mandate people (see 17:9 for the only appearance of the phrase "seven mountains" anywhere in scripture ― interesting that they'd choose that metaphor)? QAnon. And, as a Farker pointed out to me, who is the chosen mascot of the Alt-Right? Pepé (now Groyper) the Frog! I'm not sure how that would fit with the others, but it's awfully coincidental even for just the Alt-Right. (This is the observation that a Farker pointed out to me. I'm abashed to say that it never occurred to me.)

One thing that was concerning me was how person after person in Trump's circle would turn up COVID-19-positive, yet Trump himself always seemed to escape. Until last night. Until then I thought that he was protected because he's either or both of the Little Horn of the Great Beast with the Mouth that Speaketh Blasphemies ("I alone [not God] can fix America!" "I have no need of forgiveness. I never do anything wrong!" ― a flagrant contradiction of the key foundational principle of Christianity, that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and so need His forgiveness through the Saving Blood of Christ!) and/or the Tenth Horn/King of the Scarlet-Coloured Beast..

When I heard the news last night, I breathed a sigh of relief. "Bands" was wrong after all. If Trump can fall victim to a mortal disease, then he's not either or both of those Horns. He's just a man.

And then it occurred to me an hour or two ago: one of the heads of the Great Beast is to be wounded unto death ½way through the Tribulation (3½ years in out of seven), then be miraculously healed to the astonishment of all. Since even Talibangelical and Dispensationalist interpretations say that the Tribulation starts not with "the Rapture" (a term and concept not actually found anywhere in the Bible) but after that when Israel makes a treaty with the Beast (even Left Behind goes this route!), then if Trump really is either or both of the above, then the Tribulation began when he signed that treaty with Israel to declare Jerusalem instead of Tel Aviv the capital city and move our embassy there! 3½ years after that would be right about now if you go by the Hebrew lunar calendar.

I'd earlier thought (and even posted on Fark) that this could be because Trump loses definitively on November 3, in both popular vote and Electoral vote allocation, yet refuses to concede. Due to Electoral College shenanigans, though, he either wins the real election outright in mid-December, or it goes to the House, or maybe the Joint Session of Congress successfully challenges enough Biden-pledged Electors as to deny him the majority and throw it to the House. This would symbolically fit a head being mortally wounded so that all think that it's over for him, yet subsequently being miraculously healed in a way that astonishes everyone.

But what if it's more literal than that? What if Trump gets seriously ill with COVID-19, requiring ventilation, yet manages to pull through? Especially after, say, Paula Dean and/or some other Talibangelical leaders storm Walter Reed and pray over and anoint him, and then he gets instantly healed? Or he even seemingly or actually dies outright, and they resurrect him?

If any of those things happen, forget your article and novel. Just get yourself and everyone you know and love the heck off this continent (at least the southern [primarily inhabited] parts of Canada are too close and will also be included in the destruction, as will at least northern Mexico) and preferably out of this hemisphere by any means available to you.
