This is the second character announcement in the Fighter Pass Vol. 2 DLC that's available for $29.99, following Min Min from Arms. There are four new fighters yet to be announced for the DLC.

Pass, pass, like shiat, $30 for basically character reskins. Especially when they're similar to an already existing character. I will never understand semi-cosmetic DLC that's THAT expensive. It's as bad as looking at the DOA5 list of never ending costume DLC that tops out around several hundred to nearly a thousand dollars.

Are you trolling? The only arguable reskin out of all the DLC characters so far is Byleth because lol Fire Emblem. Terry Bogard alone is worth the purchase of the last set and I'll even admit that memes aside they already made the Minecraft squad look like a lot of goofy fun.

Missed that one, I don't pay much attention to Nintendo these days

I was hoping for Crash. I'm sure plenty of people are excited for Minecraft, but I'm not one of them.  Oh well. I'll probably still end up getting it for the sake of having a complete roster.

I've gotta say I did not expect this at all, so that's nice.

And honestly, the DLC characters all feel unique enough to warrant their inclusion, and some of them use completely new mechanics. They are stupidly expensive, though. Buying both fighter passes is getting close to the initial game's price, which would normally be a hard pass from me, but since Smash Bros is by far the game I've played the most for the last 4 console generations, and I really don't expect the next version to have such a huge roster, I went "fark it" and bought them.

/I think my son is gonna be thrilled when I'll show him the announcement video.

They released Cuphead, Ori and its sequel on switch already.
