Because it'll be the Pot calling the Kettle black.

Wallace "was asking the president to do something he knows the president doesn't like to do," former Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania said on CNN last night, "which is [to] say something bad about people who support him."

So the Republican answer to that is, "Not racist, but #1 with racists, and he should keep it that way"?

Jesus, I am so f*cking tired.

Wallace wasn't asking the president to do something he knows the president doesn't like to do. He was asking the president to do the right thing.

....wait a minute.

Oh, he doesn't see color!  EVERYONE is inferior compared to the Donald.

White people are just slightly less inferior, that's all.

he isn't incabable of it. he could absolutely do it an, though it would be super rambly and include stories of strong crying men, generals, and winners of smart honor usa champion prizes who all love calling him sir and know many many people who are saying his power is almost too powerful and toilets lack power.

oh right, he doesn't do it because he is and always has been extremely racist.

Well, for one thing, it might ring a little close to admitting that Hillary was right about his deplorable base...

White Supremacists don't see themselves as racist. I always always treat black people nice - the housekeeper, the nanny, the cook, the landscapers.

I like John Legend. That Jamie Foxx is really funny!

2020-10-01 6:53:15 AM
For f***s sake, Wallace framed the farking question in such a way that all Trump had to say was, "Yes.", and the right wing could have claimed he had condemned white supremacists. But no. The worthless, racist hate monger couldn't even rise to that ridiculously low bar. He had to spew more hate and division. And the craven, lick spittle GOP line up to defend him. F***ing sickening.

2020-10-01 7:19:25 AM
Because even flagrant racists don't like being called racists.

2020-10-01 8:07:06 AM
Because, silly, Donny thinks that they love him. But, any criticism on his part will cause them to withdraw said love. He's still the same 5 year old who just wants to be loved.

Racism is bad.

Racists support Trump.

Now, good people would think "Hmm, it seems like only bad people support me. What am I doing wrong?"

Trump thinks "Hmm, bad people support me. Therefore, they must not actually be bad. And what's bad is telling them they're bad."

Yes, Proud Boys, the group co-founded and run by a black man.  Truly a white supremacist threat.

hubiestubert: Well, for one thing, it might ring a little close to admitting that Hillary was right about his deplorable base...

Sure, but Trump doesn't think that far.

Santorum is right.  (Can't believe I typed this!) Trump is so starved for attention and admiration that he simply can not reject anyone who shows him any.

This is how Erdogan, Kim and Putin are playing him like a fiddle.  They know that all he wants is a good skritch between the ears, and he'll roll over for more.

I ate a Russian Potato once. Even mashed and slathered with butter they still taste like shiat and fear.

This is exactly it. It's a known problem in the power of positive thinking that a lot of right-wing grifters believe in.

2020-10-01 8:16:57 AM
The guy couldn't condemn white supremacy and less than an hour earlier called racial sensitivity training racist. He also said that efforts to teach actual history about America's racist past was anti America, implying he wants education whitewashed as well. If people are still wondering about this guy being a racist or not they're really slow.

2020-10-01 8:17:08 AM
You guys are aware that in Crazy-Pants land the Democrats are the party of the South, the KKK, slavery, and racism? That's why the chud-right is do offended by accusations of racism, because they have investigated it on YT and found themselves to be the victims of Real Racists (TM). Study it out!

2020-10-01 8:17:12 AM
2016:

Hillary: "Some of his supporters are deplorable...."
Orange: "She called you all deplorable!!!"
Supporters: "Booooo!!!"

He can't call out some without having the supporters think they are calling out them.

2020-10-01 8:17:18 AM
He thinks he's smarter than the average voter so by "being coy" he thinks he can convince some of the people he isn't a racist asshole while simultaneously confirming his racist asshollery to other racist assholes through code words (or lack of action).

2020-10-01 8:17:59 AM
Maybe he's like Mister Mxyzptlk and it would be like saying his name backwards (which would technically be Pmurt, but I digress).

2020-10-01 8:18:11 AM
Because he's racist and republicans are racists. Every last one of them.

2020-10-01 8:19:16 AM
Professional courtesy.

2020-10-01 8:20:28 AM
Besides the fact that he is a racist, it's because he will stop at nothing to stay in power.  That includes starting a civil war and burning the whole country down.

Cornered rats are the most desperate.

And dangerous.

Exactly.

Except, that was really them admitting to their favor of white supremacy support. Not just # 1 with racists, but that acknowledgement of that acceptance of the support is what is now casually exposed.

Of course he doesn't want to condemn any support he needs to win the presidency, no matter who that is, and that's just a matter-of-fact in 2020.

United States v. Fred C. Trump says what?

Yeah he sees color and hates anything not white. Just like his racist, dipshiat father.

2020-10-01 8:22:19 AM
How many times does Trump have to disavow the KKK, white supremacy, David Duke, and every actual racist organization before the news will report it and y'all will accept it? How many more of his close, black friends and supporters have to vouch for him, and point out the blatant racism from the Left before you get your head out of the sand?

2020-10-01 8:22:53 AM
Same reason that he has never said anything negative about Putin. He does not call out his supporters.

2020-10-01 8:24:13 AM
You don't insult your base.

It seems like people struggle with this almost as much as President Soyboy Cuck struggles with denouncing white supremists.

Do you mind if I borrow this? I have a troll Facebook account where I play as a moronic trump supporter trying to defend him but really I just want to point out his flaws. This is gold!

You might've drunk too much during the debate.

The moderator asked him to denounce white supremacists.

Trump said, sure, who do you want me to denounce, give me a name I'll denounce them.

Biden says, "Proud Boys."

Biden brought them up.

well Herman Cain is dead and we haven't heard from Ben carson in a while, he might need a new token supporter on this one.

Just because someone is racist, libs call that person a racist. Sad!

The reason he gets asked the question is obvious, and he showed why again at the debate.  Being against racism isn't a one and done thing, it's a moral position.  Of which he has none.

at this point what happened?

2020-10-01 8:27:10 AM
Mostly because the typical understanding of racism today really isn't racist.. its prejudice.  But the left throws the term racist around to get the emotional reaction to it.  They also find racists under every leaf and under every rock because liberal schooling has conditioned them to think so like Pavlov's dog.

I don't think he is racist, but I do thing he has some prejudice leanings.

2020-10-01 8:27:21 AM
Asking a racist not to elevate racists is asking them not to exist.

No, either Chris or Joe started to mention the Proud Boys, giving him that out. Which annoyed me because they should have just stuck to "white supremacist" , not giving him something else to latch on to.

At least that's the way it looks and sounds to me.

/It doesn't matter
