If you image search Muybridge and use Tools to select Type=GIF you get lots of results. Most of the humans are naked (or near) and one object of study seems to have been how attractive young  women's breasts bounce while doing such activities as jumping rope.

Moving pictures predate the Graphics Interchange Format.  In fact I'm told they were quite popular.  Some of them even had sound.
