(drags my comment over from the other thread...)

Others place their swans in wedding venues, or funeral or nursing homes, Donahay says

Because if there's someone who enjoys an aggressive swan nipping at their nut sack, it's mourners and the elderly!

My grandma lived in Lakeland and when we'd visit her, we'd go feed the ducks and swans. The ducks were nice, but the swans were assholes. Their bills have "teeth", and they'll try and take a piece of your hand if they can

it costs $10,000 per year to feed them

Why? They're wild animals. I mean, I'm sure they appreciate you feeding them but I'm not sure it's necessary.

Trade them for the local Canada geese, one for one

In medieval times, swans tongues, like larks tongues, were considered a delicacy. Plus, then they couldn't snitch on you for eliminating Joey "The Pigeon" Peregrini.
" I don't know officer, he musta got drunk and fell in the lake. I guess you could say it was his swan song? Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha."

Eh, I would give swan meat a try. I'm up for pretty much everything once.

In my experience, when it comes to new and different food, it's about 80% that is amazing, 19% I don't know why anyone would eat that, and 1% umm, are we sure that was prepared correctly/ was that meant for human consumption?

Numbers out of my butt. That's amazing should probably be higher.

The city spends $10,000 a year feeding and caring for them.

There's the problem right there. Swans can feed themselves and will fly where the food is assuming these idiots didn't clip their wings too.

Don't artists want swan and goose egg yokes for tempura paint?

Unlikely to be profitable.
