It's been a million years since I watched Salem's Lot, and I'd totally forgotten Fred was it

I've been rewatching all the Christopher Guest movies and they are all wonderful. Even Mascots has its charms, especially because Fred Willard makes an appearance. While Best in Show is a well deserved fan favorite, I will always like his turn in Waiting for Guffman.

Fred Willard would have made an excellent Star Trek captain.

I love that! I say it to all departing friends. :)

I enjoyed that article. I have the SNL and Daily Show Oral History books. I'd love a full Guest's Bests book.

gaslight: Fred Willard would have made an excellent Star Trek captain.

Imagine him instead of Alan Ruck in Star Trek Generations. It works.

He shouldn't talk, though, he is getting a little shaggy himself. He'd better not stand too close, people might think he's part of the band.

Waiting For Guffman - all time fave comedy. Funny that every character is indistinguishable from people I know back home.

/it's not easy being a Fabin. I can certainly understand how the Kennedy's must feel.
