Please, don;t give me hope.

But, this would be amazeballs.

2020-09-29 3:57:33 PM
He's the son of Joe Lieberman so you know this f*ckstick will insist on staying in the race.

2020-09-29 4:04:30 PM
We all voted for Warnock. Leiberman is hated in my circles, he can eat a bowl of dicks.

2020-09-29 4:06:03 PM
Let me guess, Dems will blame Ralph Nader when the Republican wins this race?

2020-09-29 4:19:44 PM
Also, nobody wants a Lieberman anywhere

2020-09-29 4:23:06 PM
Damn. That *would* be fun. And if Ossoff can unseat Perdue...

2020-09-29 4:25:28 PM
It's what Liebermans do, it would seem.

To dream the impossible dream . . .

The Kemp troops will not allow it, but it is a lovely thought.

10% candidates are spoilers, no matter what the ideology.

Lieberman endorsed Susan Collins.

What a cock.

Also, a certain TFer who posted above has just been put on my ignore list as, "lost faith in America".

Not that my opinion matters in the least, I admit...

I think you should see a doctor about all this public masturbation you seem to be doing.

There would still be a runoff - even if Warnock  got Lieberman's 9 that's only 40 total

Closet Republican, like his dad.

I wouldn't say that Fark Account has "lost faith in America" so much as "is receiving payment from foreign sources".

Ugh, f*cking Liebermans in the Senate.  Those selfish bastards f*ck everything up.

Wait, is this guy trying to play up people from Atlanta as outsiders?

I don't understand the carpetbagging.

Isn't Lieberman supposed to be an up north dude? What is his kid doing running in Georgia?

He almost certainly is painting Atlanta as "those people", yes.

I dont know who is worse on the planet... Avidgor Lieberman or Joe Lieberman. Its like if you got that last name, you're a piece of shiat of the highest order.

IndyJohn: There would still be a runoff - even if Warnock  got Lieberman's 9 that's only 40 total

Exactly, in GA, you need 50% +1 to avoid a runoff. Lieberman dropping out wouldn't help, and besides, if he's anything like his dad, he's probably getting a decent chunk of Republican voters despite the D label.

Jesus christ what a farking Lieberman. I just tweeted at him to quit because there are no polls showing he's close to winning. Not even in his own house.

To these people, the only "real America" is rural America, and people in cities aren't "real Americans".  The end.

Fark Ralph Nader, I blame Lieberman #1 for that one, too.  And the SCROTUS, too.   We could have begun unfarking the planet by now, instead of no end in sight for the fossils.

Lieberman was such an awful choice.

And I still think that to this day Sandra Day O'Conner has not one day without miserable regret in her life.

It's also worth noting that there are six other democrats running in addition to Lieberman and Warnock.

Assuming the two Republicans stay at 45%, Warnock's ceiling with all the other D's dropping out (Yeah you, Tarver) is 55%.

2020-09-29 5:00:11 PM
This assumes that those voting for Lieberman would vote for Warnock.  Considering that they are voting for Lieberman, they may just as well vote Republican if he drops out.

Isn't the fire burning more of the red counties than the blue?

I don't wish disasters on anyone (Laura and Beta gave me some stress this year), but if your house burned down and you're not PISSED at how little Donny2Scoops cares, goddam you are stupid.

If a candidate doesn't get 50 it's a run off. If Biden is actually at fifty as the two polls today suggested he might be able to bring Ossoff over the top of Perdue. The special election will almost guaranteed have a run off.

Yes.

Lieberman is trying to paint a Savannah-born, Morehouse educated, black man who just so happens to be the Senior Minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church THE CHURCH THAT MLK PREACHED AT AND WHERE JOHN LEWIS WAS EULOGIZED AS NOT BEING "GEORGIA" ENOUGH.

What a farking joke.

I can't imagine being so much of a narcissistic asshole that I would think throwing my hat into a FPTP election with a clear forerunner in my own party is a good idea. You will literally not do anything good for the election or for your party.

You can't really go by adding up the R's and D's to assume that the Democrat will win.

Lieberman is running as a bluedog type of D - the sort of D that is more likely to flip to R in the general than stay loyal. Right now, Collins and Loeffler are trading blows as to who finishes #2 - they hadn't set their radar on Warnock at the moment, but the idea is that they damage each other to where the winner of Collins/Loeffler is significantly weakened. The runoff is January 5th, meaning that there's another two months of campaigning. Hopefully, D's show up for the runoff as well as the general.

There is literally ZERO possibility that Lieberman does anything, whatsoever, other than (a) suck enough votes away from Warnock to force a special election that the Russpublican will probably win or (b) suck enough votes away from Warnock that it's a special election between two Russpublicans. The only possible benefactors of his presence are the party of open treason. So yes he absolutely does need to GTFO ASAP.For someone who claims they want to help America, you sure have a farking hardon for doing everything possible to sabotage the good guys from behind friendly lines.
