That man helped me through many a youth sports locker room based on his books. He was an inspiration And taught me great life lesson about how to keep it loose as life tries to grind you down. Hope he eventually found his Star Patrol helmet.

I absolutely would have snapped the shutter if this was in front of my lens. Probably wouldn't put it on a baseball card, though...

The Naked Gun made Jay Johnstone a Mariner for one day, batting leadoff against the California Angels. (Jay donned uniform #29 for it, digits he never wore as a major leaguer.)

Palined Parenthood: etoof: If memory serves, he was the guy that hit a grand slam on the 4th of July, but was called out because he ran past the guy on first base who was tagging up.

I think that would result in Runner 1 being called out, not the batter-runner. Sounds fascinating though; will scour the internet shortly.
