This is the 4th attempt going back to August 27th w/ bad pneumatics numbers, last week was the swing arm, last night was a lightning strike near the pad shutting the go-or-don't window...

SpaceX has two ready to go, one tomorrow night a couple of hours earlier than this, and then the Starlink launch washed out yesterday, the next day just under 12 hours later. Insane.

They're being extra-careful because the satellite is worn ONE. BILLION. DOLLARS.

I wish I could see pics of what the antennas look like on those sigint satellites.

Typical Delta launch.  They always seem to abort right before engine start.

One of the last tries of this vehicle, they even had engine start before they aborted.

how do they have a window beyond a go no-go for what should be a go no-go window...

2020-09-30 11:58:47 PM
Looks like the hydrogen purge started (there was some fire prior to the abort), so I don't think they can try again tonight.  They have to reload some stuff to flush the system and ignite it in the flame trench.

Scrubbed. Space X goes to Mars. ULA goes to Earth.

I can't tell if I'm watching a launch or last nights debates.

Well, this being Fark and all, this toilet/ULA discussion reminded me of a segment of Letterkenny (Canadian sitcom).  Caution on playing this loud enough for others to potentially overhear, as it is profoundly profane.

But it kind of fits.

It got scrubbed, I couldnt see it from here anyway because it was to cloudy. Glad I fell asleep before the countdown.

Okay, who flies next, ULA's NROLL-44 or SpaceX's GPS-Sat for the Space Force? Or are they all just gonna keep taking turns scrubbing all week..

too many L's.
