And worst of all, he's a Bud Light drinker.

The cop should have a part-time gig teaching the Dolphins how to properly tackle.

Yes I watched it.  But I don't know how relevant it is to the public to see this video of someone who is suffering from mental distress.  If he's got problems.  He needs to be helped to resolve them and this release doesn't help.

Secondly, was it relevant to tackle him and cuff him?  Based on what he was wearing it should have been easy to see that he didn't have a weapon on him.  Save the tackle for when he starts to fight.

Maybe FLPD released it to show that they will tackle a white guy for no reason?  See!  Systemic racism is gone!

Make the truck less nice, make the Bud Lite a Pabst, and angry drunk, wife beating, shirtless guy getting tackled by a Florida police officer just seems like another day in the Florida burbs.

Seriously, I hope his wife runs and takes everything he has in the process.

BizarreMan: Secondly, was it relevant to tackle him and cuff him?

Because they don't want to get in a fist fight with a standing drunk guy.

You hate to see it.

Maybe Biden should do a Trump and just play that on a loop behind him during one of his press conferences.

Looks like he has a Raptor.  That is a big dude if his head is above the roof line of that truck when he is standing bare foot next to it.

I've a few questions. The rifles and armor the police were carrying/wearing. Why?
Why did they tackle him? You suggest it was to avoid fighting him, but who says he would have fought them?
I hate agreeing with people who have tried to hurt so many, but he was right- he hadn't done anything to the police at that point.

I think his loss of his Trump gig spun him out, emotionally.

Per the report, he discharged a small firearm inside the house, which his wife confirmed during the filming, and when he came out, they had no idea if he had any in his pockets.  He did briefly reach into his front pocket just before getting tackled.  If he was any other darker shade of human, he would have been dropped with a headshot for doing that.

Ain't gonna lie, it was actually pretty good, there's a good chance that the officer is a red belt in the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Combatives System, a ranking only bestowed upon the highest and most prestigious individuals to have the last name "Combatives System".

That was a gentle take down compared to the ones we've seen involving protestors, black people and drunk drivers.

He didn't even bump his head, though Trump says they don't need to be gentle with him when it comes time to put him in the car.

This is your chance to break free from the chains of socialization and break free from the guilt-ridden impulses that have held you back for so long.  I want you to clench your fist and I want you to dispense the justice that your little sister so thoroughly deserves for breaking your model airplane.

I am going to assume that you have done this and that you are on your path to enlightenment.  Thank you for listening.  I will be sending you fresh fruits as gratitude.  Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

1) He was armed and shots were heard fired coming from inside the home.
2) "Who says he would have fought them"....No one said that. However they've had enough experience with drunks to know they can go from zero to fist fighting in a millisecond.
3)You didn't ask this one...how did they know he was drunk. Well, when asked to leave the house by armed police officers....bringing your beer isn't the sober move.

Remember any interaction with the police should be treated as potentially life threatening, police are trained to view any interaction with the public in such a manner so you have to treat them the same. Even if you know and like individual police officers all it takes is 1 trigger happy asshole and at best you have a bunch of hospital bills and physical therapy to look forward to.

A serious drinker knows when you're hitting the last cans of BudLite you found in the garage left over from some 4th of July party. You've pretty much gone through the entire liquor cabinet.

The second comment was in reference to the comment I replied to. I figured bringing a beer outside with you is a sign you are either drunk or working on it. :)

He wasn't fired, merely demoted.  They can't fire him, they run almost all campaign spending through his company and he employs the worthless pieces of shiat who suckle at the teet of the Trump dictatorship because they've sold their souls for cash talking heads like Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

I wonder why they didn't strip him naked and humiliate the way they do black and Hispanic suspects...? Or a forced rectal exam.
Those right wing Christian cops love doing that to boys.

Cops have literally shot naked black guys dead....and been found not guilty.

I counted six cops - why? Why did they need so many given the nature of the call? Why did they tackle him? He clearly wasn't threatening them. He was half-naked - he clearly didn't have a weapon.

Inspired by the comments:

'Cause you had a Brad day
The police took you down
You got out your gun just to get slammed on the ground
You say you don't know
You tell me, "don't lie"
You worked for a twat, and took him for a ride
You had a Brad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down, and you really do mind
You had a Brad day
You had a Brad day

I think it is just more hilarity.  He had a breakdown because the wheels are coming off of the Tiny Dick Daughterfarker wagon, and then his tax returns are leaked and published?  Fark Brad.  Fark him.

I completely agree.

They did not need to tackle him.

I'm not glad that they did.

And the silver lining of it being cops brutalizing a white guy isn't exactly comforting either...

/been against cop brutality for the last 25 years
//ever since a small town PD officer beat a 16 year old girl in front of me
///and she was a white run-away who was being returned to her abusive father

Because they fancied bullying a shirtless guy to the hot Florida pavement instead.

Although Markie Farkie has a pretty good analysis upthread, the actual answer is as follows:

Because they don't know any other way.

2020-09-28 4:15:50 PM

Walker: So did he do anything?

He didn't DO anything! He DIDN'T do anything! He didn't do ANYthing! He didn't do anyTHING!

What a little biatch.

They called SWAT out for when he was inside and armed, possibly barricaded because of his wife's report.

That being said, I don't like the guy and enjoyed watching that take down, but it was bullshiat. Tackling officer said the pockets were large enough to conceal a gun but the bodycam shows the pockets were flat.

Also, bad form. You follow through the tackle. Not just hit and bounce off. That's how your RB gets yards after contact.

Well, when you get a call that a guy has a lot of guns and is beating the f*ck out of his wife and aiming a gun at her you kinda want to send more than one cop.

Is the Brad Parscale fan club here today or something?

He was.

He came out when they asked and was approached calmly by one police officer.

Who distracted him until he was tackled.

He really wasn't doing anything.

What happened?
